A cooler, moist desert that has the most awkward history of any place in the Mushroom Kingdom. There is a mixture of butterflies, trees, grass, sand, cacti, and even water. This is NOT a normal desert, indeed. The fun will never end, for there are 50 Red ______, along with hundreds of other things to find and collect. #3&4) At the first Spherish. One is underwater, while the other is in mid-air.
#5) On the square platform with the moving block past the first Bullet Bill Cannon. To reach it, first break the Brick near Artifact #2 and take a step on where it was to reveal a platform. Before it disappears after a while, uncover the other platform, which is found inside the left side of the Bullet Bill's grassy wall. Keep diving into the corner meeting the floor and eventually you'll activate it. Hop onto it before IT disappears. If you were quick enough, you can jump from the first platform (it should be vibrating in place near the Artifact) to the Artifact. An alternative method to use (if you cannot successfully activate the second platform), is by jumping down the platform with Artifact #16.
#6) In the small pool with two Spherish. Just swim downward past them.
#7) In the pitfall containing a fence spread across. After collecting it, either Triple Jump or Double Jump+Spin back up.
#8) Before the Tomb, atop the third twisted platform. Jump through the first two to reach it.
#9) On a cloud trail starting at the Tomb's entrance. Jump toward the left-most cloud, past the level transition.
#10) In an alcove at the top-right corner of the Tomb's first room. Platform across the ceiling carefully (past the moving block that may crush) to reach it.
#11) Above the Thwomp (how could you miss it?).
#12) This one is very tricky, and you must be very observation to catch this with the naked eye; you can only see a subtle glow. Past the Thwomp and single moving block is a set of another five moving blocks synchronized in a pattern. This is risky, but squeeze your way above them and, in the middle of ceiling, jump up and try to reach for it.
#13) Visible on the ceiling past the five moving blocks. Break the Bricks in the right wall, then jump from there to the Artifact.
#14) May take several attempts. As you descend through the three Yellow Coins, time a Spin Attack and glide to the nook at your left. Drop down to the Red Artifact.
#15) In the pool with five large Cheep Cheeps. Swim through the tunnel to collect your prize.
#16) From the ledge with the Koopa and sign board, drop down to the niche containing four Yellow Coins and single Warp Pipe. Go down the Pipe, and you'll find yourself on a grassy roof. Run east and make a long jump to the Bricked roof containing a Sling Star and your Artifact.
#17) Back at the Tomb, go west and climb up to the small Green Platform moving back and forth from a door. Go past that door (do not enter it... only do so if you messed-up on Red Artifact #14.) to find an Artifact sitting on a 64x128 (in pixels) block.
#18) First make it through the gate by getting the Invisibility Power-Up found past the level transition you come across if you jump westward instead of toward the east from Artifact #16. Once through the gate, make your way past the two small moving blocks and your prize is in another alcove. If you fail to reach it, wait until you reach the door by Artifact #20 and make your way past the gate again.
#19) On the Green Platform ride, jump upward when you eventually see it. Again, if you miss go through the door process.
#20) In the air near a door. Carefully Jump+Spin to the Artifact and back.
#21) In yet another nook. Break the Bricks first and then collect the Artifact.
#22) Ride the Green Platform back up to the Tomb's roof, but on the right side of it. On a solid platform high up in the air. Jump over a sequence of falling Green Platforms to reach it. I suggest you collect Artifact #23 first.
#23) Simply travel to a pillar dividing the right side from the left side (entrance) of the Tomb's roof. It is on a ramp.
#24) Between two circling Spherish in the Quiet Waters. Watch out for the torches below!
#25) Back at the surface of the water, jump across the black Desert Bricks to reach a grassy platform low above the water. There, you'll find your next Artifact.
#26) Returning to where you began jumping across those dark Bricks, go left instead to find Green Platform hoarded with Yellow Coins. At the end is another Red Artifact with two falling Green Platforms below it.
#27) Past the grassy platform containing Artifact #25 you'll find a Metal Power-Up. Grab it and hurry to the underwater Brick, then Ground Pound them to smithereens. Do not worry, the pit below is blocked-off.
#28) Swim up to find a jumping Spherish. Hop onto it for a ride and locate an Artifact floating in the air above. Jump off high enough to reach it.
#29) Now swim right, down under the water along the left side of the wall of Sand. There you will find three Cheep Cheeps and another Artifact. Kill those fishies and claim your prize.
#30&31) Now, swim straight back up to the surface of the Quiet Waters and jump to the Tilting Log. Find yourself ten Yellow Coins, a Blue Coin, and two Red Artifacts.
#32) Travel east a bit more and locate a Bullet Bill Cannon. Swim south to find a huge rotating block. Hidden under it are a Blue Coin and an Artifact. You'll have to reach for them like how you reached for Artifact #12, but with timing.
#33) Return to the Bullet Bill and try to bounce off of it to collect an Artifact atop a tiny block.
#34) Swim back to the "Shore," but at the lowest point of the Waters. There is a Red Artifact in an opening INSIDE the wall. How is it possible to get in there??? It is actually very simple. Just swim down under the Sand and back up to enter the alcove. That easy!
#35) The last Red Artifact of the Quiet Waters (not the level). More platforms connected to Twisted Branches. This time, there are four. As before, just jump through all of them to claim the Artifact.
#36) This one is very hard to overlook. It is in a puddle with two Cheep Cheeps. Just kill them.
#37) To get this Red Artifact in the nook under the Bone Platforms and Switch, jump into the pit with Yellow Coins above it (they are arranged in the shape of a question mark.). It turns out to be a hidden tunnel. Jump out at its end to claim the Artifact!
#38) Climb back up to the elevation where you fell into the trap, and grab the Artifact inside the Invisible Wall by jumping from the ledge to the right (it has two live Goombas and a Cactus near it.
#39) In the air randomly high above a tilted Cactus. Make a long jump from the wooden platform containing two Yellow Coins and a Switch.
#40) Under an overshoot of grass. Couldn't be any simpler.
#41) High above the lost Penguin is a stranded grassy platform. To get onto it, press the Switch on the platform involved with Artifact #39. Hurry and jump onto the temporarily existing Bricks before time runs out to claim your next Artifact.
#42) At the wall of Sand right before the "unusual" words and endless pit, jump down and look for a niche containing three stacked Bricks and... what do you know? Another Red Artifact! Break the Bricks first.
#43) Carefully jump back up to the platforms and work your way to the topmost word. At its last letter you'll find another Artifact to collect.
#44) Once you clear the pit, take the two Sling Stars. Jump leftward over the second one to claim your fourth double-digit.
#45) Drop back down to the first Sling Star and break the Brick. Tread the ground there, and you will teleport through the wall mysteriously. Collect the Artifact inside those walls while you have the chance.
#46) Step into the "dead end" and you will teleport back out through the wall. Now move forward to eventually come across another pool. Relatively high above it is another Artifact. It'll be easier to reach from the path leading to Artifact #47. Triple Jump+Dive if you wish, but it would be a bit challenging.
#47) Right above the three Cacti up ahead is a block. Jump on it and head back west via that upper trail. The highest block owns the next Red Artifact. Drop down to Artifact #46 from this trail if you're lazy.
#48) Once you clear the three Sand platforms over the last endless pit, climb the final two Wooden Platforms connected to Twisted Branches and collect another Artifact.
#49) This is the easiest one. It is plainly on the path to the final Red Artifact. IMPOSSIBLE TO MISS!!! XD
#50) At the end of the level.

That is it! Just make sure you safely return to the beginning of the level and climb the small temple there.

Oh, gosh darn it! I cannot believe I overlooked a minor misplacement of the water in the Quiet Temple! I probably dragged it slightly when tending other things. I will hopefully fix it.

I am posting this for anyone to be aware.
