This level was created in a three day span for the 14th LDC (Pure Platformer). It came in 11th place out of 24 with a score of 14.58/20. It did get Volcove's second-highest score of the competition (15.5), tied with King and just under 6th placer MICrophone. So there's that.

I know for a fact that there's some elaborate story behind this level but weirdly enough it doesn't seem like a level you'd make because a lot of plant life sprouts from everywhere in most of your games so I was not even sure this was your level but it's a very nice level considering it was created in a three day span

Indeed, for I might be one of the only ones to view it such a way.

Obviously it is fairly vanilla in playstyle and style (although some aspects do stand out, like the fallen flagpole), but the fact that it is all a metaphor is what made it a more pleasant (or at least noteworthy) experience for me. After all, it serves a reminder that the past will eventually pass us by and remain lost in history, and while the earlier experiences are indeed referenced here and there, it won't be long before they will abandoned and forgotten in favor of newer, modern creations. Kind of sad, in a way.

So, uh, gave it 4/5 stats, since it is about equal to the rating I gave it.
