It means someone has rated your level one star out of five, or 1/5. It doesn't necessarily mean the level is terrible, but it just shows you have stuff to work on. Just keep at it and you'll be great in no time.

To be honest. I saw SMB 1-1 remakes so often in the portal now. So I can only suggest you to avoid such common remakes.
