Ditto. This is a lot different than a typical crap level, and there have definitely been pure platformers with less effort put into it than this. Just because it looks easy doesn't mean it was easy to do.

I have seen other levels with more effort than this disapproved. I am not trying to be harsh here, I am trying to be fair. This is a prologue, and not one with any substantial material. So by that logic, it does not deserve to be on the portal. As your own level, fine, but not on the portal.

Ehm....have you played the rest of my series? Oh wait, you did not, because it is not released yet. How do you know this prologue hasn't substancial things to the story?, you don't know the story! And besides, MoD and I have told you that not because a level is short means that it is efortless, specially if it is trying to give emotions in the players. If you didn't get them, then bad for you. But for what I've seen, many people did.

Did I mention the rest of your series, or am I speaking specifically about this level? I haven't mentioned or complained about the story, and I never said that short=no effort. You're putting words into my mouth to suit your argument. All I've said is that this doesn't have the effort put into it to make onto the portal. So, as I said, as your own level for a level series, then fine, but not on the portal.

This level shouldn't been in the portal. Because like Buff said there is not really effort in it. So it would be better if it could be at least removed to another topic or something like that. Buff only follows the rules. Even if I answered in a long post. It wasn't the level itself which took me to answer like that. It was the raging of lordpat while he deleted levels again. I only worried because it was made right after that.
But MoD. If you would think a bit more logical, you would know that portals like this should follow the rules.(exceptions cause always problems.) And it seems for me more like breaking the rules.
I think it's a bit stupid to defend this level that much instead of just removing it to a own series topic or whatever. What would have been more easier.
If this post offends you. Just delete it, warn me or whatever. I needed to do that.

And if you read my post, I NEVER said you were complaining about my story. I was complaining about the fact that you said that my level didn't have any substancial material, aka, it doesn't have anything that is really important. Then, how do you know that this prologue doesn't have any sustancial material if you hadn't played my series.

And then explain me, why does this level doesn't have enough effort to be in the portal? You said it had 4 signs and little actual level. That was your argument. I told you that the point of the level was trying to give the players a feeling, and that that means effort because I have to think about it very deeply. Even though it has little jumps to be done and no actual plattaforming, that doesn't mean that I've put no effort into it. And you never really answered that. So please, I am asking you, why does this doesn't have enough effort to be in the portal?

Okay okay calm down guys. I can see two divided groups here, but does that mean you have to argue? Although i don't think it's quite enough of quantity to see the real quality in this, i don't however think it should be deleted. I've approved levels in the past with no continuation because, while they weren't good, i just had to accept it was a matter of opinion.

If you guys want to continue arguing, you can, but there's absolutely no point because both sides will never give in to the other, so i suggest that we just leave it up and tell Lordpat how to improve it so it's actually valid..?

This is why I said remove from portal rather than delete. I don't want to get rid of this from the site completely, but while it is what it is it shouldn't be on the portal. You can still give constructive feedback on a levels page.

To solve the problem for both sides, just move this topic to lordpat's level topic, delete some posts which should be gone and be happy.


I would do it myself, but I dunno how to merge topics and if I would find out I would probably do something so incredibly wrong that I delete both topics by accident, cause that's what normally happens when I do something :3
