Marina Ruins
The second level of the two-level miniseries for the 21st LDC, and the companion piece to Sliverfall Cove! This level contains the pre-boss ruin (sort of a castle but not quite) and the boss itself, the Taranichile. (Off the top of my head names FTW.) This mysterious, disjointed spider-like beast with eight icy legs will try and slam you out of the picture before you reach the end. Good luck!

Notes!

Blue Bricks are P-Blocks- press pause and unpause and you will leap out. Red Bricks are, in their only instance, insta-kill blocks, where you will fall underneath the level.

If you get pushed to the top of level 2, the first part, then any pipe you take will lead you back to the beginning.

There are no signs dictating checkpoints (in fact; no signs at all except for a single hint in a hidden part of the first level). There are, however, midway points signified by two dotted rings with a green platform, and arrows to pictures depicting checkpoints. Use those visual cues to find out.

There are 4 1ups in Marina, usually with a hinting arrow to find if necessary.

Try doing this. It worked for me while making my entry:

Bring all water Sprites to the beginning of the Item portion of the code. I thought it would do the opposite, but when I did this the graphics were fixed. I cannot guarantee this will work for you, but at least give it a try [but the Vault is now locked. ]!

As for the level... graphics were great. Cannot find anything wrong with it!
The gameplay, however, was a disappointment. I cannot find enjoyment in this level, and there are a little too many glitches (not the intentional ones, such as the P-jump and Red Block traps). Some of those glitches were too hard for me to describe... Now, gameplay was okay up until the first Invisibility Power-up. If it ran out, you'd no longer be metallic, and then drown too easily. Sometimes the Teleportation Switch wouldn't work, and you may be left to drown if you're late.
I have not been able to get past the Invincibility Star part after the teleporter, because I keep getting crushed by the gate when exiting the tiny room... (too weird) ...so I cannot review this level any further than that.

I have no problems loading it up and I do not see any lag issues, so good for you!

...but I'll have to give you a 5.25/10. Sorry.
