Eight Red Coins: Cave
Mario is wandering in a field when he comes across a warp pipe he'd never sees before. He peers in, seeing that it leads into a cave. Does he dare explore? Of course he does!

Oh yeah, and this level is HUGE and FILLED UP. It will almost definitely make your computer lag. :|

Not for me. Anywho, The level isn't really bad at all. The only thing I have against it is that it's incredibly easy, especially with all the coins you placed throughout the stage. As for the beginning of the stage, I understand that you wanted to make it seem like you were entering the cave instead of just appearing in it, but that first part serves no purpose, and it looks badly placed when you zoom out the camera (yes, I do that) because of the cutoff and the cave right below. Honestly, I think you would have been better off leaving that out. I'll give your stage a 3/5.

I still think its easy, but at least now you have the risk of losing health without so many coins, so it adds just a little bit more challenge to your level. The level itself was already decent, but I think that overall it is a little better. If I could, I would give a 3.5/5, but as you know, I can't really rate a level like that, so I think I'll round up and give you a 4, because I'm nice like that.

P.S. For some reason, my flash player started slowing down this time, even though you took out all those coins. I don't get it.

This level was pretty fun the first time, but after the update, I kinda got bored of it.

Words of advice...
...Try to avoid long, flat surfaces. Even if decorations fill them, it can be plain. Enemies could void this probably if included there too, but...
...There is a limit to how many enemies in a given area can be deemed acceptable. You placed a bit too much, yet I wouldn't call it spam, although it probably is the cause of all that lag.
Lastly, spacing of coins and enemies is sometimes required if you want the level to be balanced well. Even though you removed enough coins for the level to be more challenging than before, you should keep these two-and-two-fourths of things in mind: a) Enemies can produce coins too, so if too many enemies are too little of a threat, you are literally throwing away a challenge if the main threat is the enemies. b) You want the level to be balanced, right? ...Well you balanced the coin allotment well, but there is something you should know: there should, at times, be some challenge in order to collect the coins. There is almost no feeling of satisfaction in collecting any coins if you know how to reach them from first sight.

Anyway, I'd give this 3.333/5 stars, but the update calls for a 3/5. I already rated this a day or so ago, but I don't have to re-rate. :>

I was planning on making more Eight Red Coins levels, but I'm starting to doubt myself now. I-I think I'm not going to post for a...a while...?
I should use those tips to practice making more levels.

You aren't bad at all.
I could and should have been much clearer, now that I see your response.

I wasn't giving you a rant on how bad it was, I was giving tips (not advice...) on what could help make your level better.
Personally, I get bored out a bit when there is too much lag in a level. I'm not saying your level is simply boring, but other players have different tastes/preferences, which variate opinions.

And 3/5 stars isn't bad at all. I like your level, but it isn't one of those big hits that keep you pulled you right in--but don't worry about it. Everybody can improve, and that doesn't mean you're bad because you could do better. You could become even better at Level Designing, so keep this up and you'll be sure to go higher in the future.

Eaman I like your level just the way it is ^-^ your not the best but hey I encourage ALL creativity. I am very creative if i do say so my self. I make MARIO comics(I like mario and super mario galaxy),I draw, And I'm doing my own seresis on this game. 8-) I'm almost a freshman and I still play games like these :oops: your level is awesome and for your age your awesome.
