• Lots of Unnecessary details! WOW!!
• This level, to be honest, seems to be bad with SM63's collisions but the SM63's collisions are, weird.
• Pretty Adventurous though annoying sometimes (me went wrong way )

I never beaten it due to SM63's weird collisions and weird FPS.

Go into designer mode, and look at the Flipping Platforms' properties. It is a trick I used: the speeds are actually from, approximately, 158-171, not as slow as they seem to be.
I made them ultra fast so that they can be more of a threat, but also have a visibly full rotation.

Okay then, but I cannot find either of the two issues you've mentioned.
Maybe you could take a screenshot of the two problems? Because, again, I failed at finding either of them.

While some parts were fun to play, this level has way too many moments where the platforming is just annoying, mainly those where you used single green platforms moving in unpredictable patterns at such a high speed that it can push you off the platform. The underwater sections were pretty boring and in comparison to the sky parts way too easy.

I will probably get a lot of hate for this one, but this level, for me at least, looks just ugly when you used sand tiles. On the sides, at the bottom and on top it just doesn't look that good. The small area with grass tiles looks good though.

-0.25: A bit of lag and (sometimes, dunno why) 1 crash warning when loading the level

+0.25: Those platforms underwater are actually a quite nice addition.

I'm sorry for everybody who's part of the Triple J fan club but this is just how I see it. I'm not hating your style or something like that Triple J, in case you are thinking that, I've also seen very good stuff coming from you.

It's okay, I'm cool. It was hard enough to make sustainable sandbars anyway. I wasn't thinking about variety, but too much on the sandbars, so...

...I actually have to agree with you and myself: I could have done much more than sand tiles, and I should have slowed down some platforms, etc. Even though the sandbars are decorated some, I do see where the boredom comes into play.

Thanks for bringing this up, so now I'll makeover many areas throughout the weekend.
Until then, I'd appreciate it if this level isn't accepted as it is right now.


Note to self: Yay. I just got some ideas that'll improve this level. I'll get to work in about an hour, but then I would have to delay my LDC entry. However, I cannot leave this level like this.

I have to disagree with Nwolf here. It was very fun to explore with Turbo Fludd and the graphics were nice and balanced. It seemed like a great portal level to play. I think it deseves a 4.25/5 (equal to 4/5)

GM, I didn't put enough detail tile-wise, focused too solely on the "sandbar" concept, didn't consider the appeal to the platforming; all, as a whole, being a bit too laid-back in development - a mistake I don't usually make, but I'm glad you still like it.

It's ok, I guess. Nothing spectacular. I'm agreeing with most points Nwolf made above. Also. Why the ridiculous amount of empty space? This level doesn't need to be 358x925 at all. What's the point of wrong dimensions? I don't think it's very helpful to fool the player with it.

The amount of lag and loading time issues in your recent levels seems to increase again. Try avoiding unused space, use more level transitions. Planning the level a bit may help a lot as well. You could have reduced the lag/loading time issues by a lot if you'd designed more effective, imo.
