The camera triggers destroyed the gameplay pretty much for me. For example. I'm jumping over a gap, suddenly camera effect and I fall down. Happened multiple times. Same for getting hit by enemies.
The giant crab... I don't know. I stand there pressing Z multiple times and waited for it to die, rather than having an actual fight with it. Other than that, the gameplay seems pretty average to me.

The door in the first transition needs to set to the midback layer. So it doesn't appear in front of the player but still in front of the tiles. The tile colouring in the first transition was great. The black sand showing the custom paths of those three metal blocks seemed rather like cutoff. You'd maybe need to let some space between the black and yellow sand or use something else to show make that path visible if seriously needed. Items might be helpful at that point.

I see that you tried to add some variety to the platforming and the atmosphere seems ok as well. Well done

There've been subtitles layering over each other making a few things impossible to read. Somewhere near the end.

You know what kind of levels I like?

Levels that are fun. Levels that are difficult without forcing the player to take damage or do things that seem crazy or not obvious at all. Levels made by people who know how to use Cinema Mode. Levels that don't treat the player like a moron who doesn't know how game mechanics or level design work.

This was none of those things.

The delta orb part at the beginning could have been interesting, but it was constantly interrupted by awkward camera angles and subtitles that state things I already know. Seriously, there are way too many subtitles in this level. There are even subtitles on top of subtitles at points! Meanwhile, I'm still moving my character around offscreen because the game isn't even in Cinema Mode. Then, the giant crab boss was boring. You could've at least put blocks or spikes or something to make it a little harder to press Z over and over again to win. Next was a fairly boring but okay platforming segment, along with having to push a boulder in order to climb up to a ledge. Apparently the task of pushing a boulder to climb up a ledge is so incredibly complicated that the subtitles have to hold your hand and walk you through the process. Afterwards I had to push another boulder into a spike pit in order to get up to another ledge, only to find a gate which needs a switch to activate. In order to get to the switch, though, I had to backtrack through the spike pit again. And I do mean "through"; it's nigh impossible to get back to the switch without running through the spikes, and then doing it again on the way back from the switch, which is hidden in a high-up spot which I didn't even think I could reach at first. It took me a while to figure out just where the switch was, but after finding it, hitting it, having yet another subtitle tell me that, yes, that switch that was supposed to open the gate did in fact open the gate, and running through the spike pit again, I finally got to the end of this travesty of a level.

This review probably sounds very negative. Well, that's because it is. But the level wasn't all bad. You paid attention to graphics (although there was that issue with the door which BY mentioned), and there were interesting concepts such as the delta orb part in the beginning. However, the excessive use of subtitles and camera ruined the entire level for me. The point of subtitles is that they can give the player important information without being intrusive and interrupting the level like signs, but by placing them in awkward spots, using weird and annoying camera triggers, stating nothing but the obvious, and not using Cinema Mode at all, you subverted that purpose spectatularly, making the subtitles even worse than signs would have been, so that the interesting gameplay and graphics weren't enough to save the level. For right now, you get a 2/5, but I think this level has potential to be better.

Nothing I have to say hasn't already been stated, but great job on that review KABOOM.
Actually, one thing I have to say is that the background looks like it's spammed at points. I don't like it. Maybe it's just me.
