Classic A
CannoGolfing is a new sport in the Mushroom Kingdom, and instead of the traditional Golf Ball & Club... you fling yourself across the Course via Cannons while avoiding the coins covering most of the ground--sometimes also being in the air as additional obstacles.
The coins being everywhere is the incentive to using Cannons instead, since you want to collect the least coins possible, that being impossible to do without the Cannons.

The CannoGolf Classic is the original CannoGolf course. The design is made to be difficult to read, but a beginner can still learn from this course when guided along the way.

a few years ago I made a very, very similar level with a very similar purpose. Except it was more of a maze.

However, if you're going to have this kind of golf-esque look to it... first off, have more cannons than that. Or at least some way to reach a cannon without having to walk/jump through 30 coins... I think some pits are even impossible to get out of (like on the first hole, this one pit with several ledges to the right is impossible to get out of, and forced me to restart).

Some pits are just annoying... like the fourth hole, I'm not talking about the coin-filled pits. The one over the start is my biggest frustration, as well as the part shortly after where you have to curve over a ledge to get a cannon right above you... it really is nearly impossible, and once you screw up you have to start from the beginning...

...Then practice. I tested everything.

EDIT: Y'know what? I am starting to get disappointed and frustrated with this trend. I put a lot of hard work and heart into my levels, all I get are complaints regarding frustration, lag, loading times, etc, and you cannot enjoy them.
Don't reply if you cannot say anything good or encouraging. I don't think it's cool. Sorry.

EDIT2: I will no longer take complaints regarding impossibilities. From this point, I want you all to realize that I never leave anything impossible in my levels. Please.
I am assuming that you'll take that as stubborn, but I am dead serious.
I hate impossible levels or things being impossible to do. Remember that.

EDIT3: Damn, my brain is disorganized.
The main reason I'm frustrated is because I'm feeling ♥♥♥♥ up by the same users finding my levels frustrating, because they are challenging. Challenging levels don't always go your way, and I know it happens. But to be blunt--and I am going to be straightforward and honest--I don't want this to be taken personally, but this is how I feel about users lowering their ratings because they can't beat or get past a certain part of a level, or if they have a personal problem with it:

"If you can't figure it out, that's your ♥♥♥♥ problem. Keep trying, and don't rate it until you realize that your personal issues with the level don't matter regarding the level's true quality. If your computer is crappy, and there is too much lag, don't rate levels. ♥♥♥♥ ratings then. If you get a better computer, change your ratings. Done. You shouldn't have rated it until then."

EDIT4: I hope nobody read this yet, because I don't think I made something clear enough yet: I am not trying to insult anybody, and I am not really taking the criticism and negative reviews personally either.
My problem is that I'm not finding very much encouragement or positivity in them. I seriously don't see why people are recently getting frustrated with the difficulty of my levels. Professional levels can be frustrating too.
I am also against people lowering their scores because of something out of their control. Examples: Crappy computers causing slowness= instant, unfair penalties. Players getting stuck or frustrated because they tend to get frustrated or don't do well with puzzles= uncontrollable penalties that affect the quality of the level TO A PERSONAL LEVEL.
I want everybody to think of the said level universally before reviewing and rating.

First of all, regarding this complaints about lag, loading time and frustration, if that is a recurring problem, and even if you don't want to admit it, you might want to have a look at your levels for this points. It is not a conspiracy if people think your levels are laggy or taking time to load. If people are saying your levels are hard, try considering making your levels slightly easier. It doesn't remove quality from the level, it just makes them more enjoyable, and that is what you should be seeking, right? Not (too much) frustration, right?

Now you are saying that you don't want to hear about criticism that isn't good or encouraging... Then what? What kind of level is perfect? By pointing out the little bugs or things that don't work out, people are only telling you how to improve. Even if it doesn't feel like it, it is better than encouragement. Of course, encouragement is still okay and needed, for confidence.

Finally, even after playing your level hundreds of times, bugs and impossible parts can still be found in your level. Why? Maybe because it actually isn't impossible, but it's just not enough explicit. I personally experienced a bug that wrapped me outside of the level's boundaries. Bugs happen, it is outside of your control most of the time. People can find bugs that you didn't, it's okay.

And now for the level itself.

The concept is rather unique and interesting and offers a new challenge. A simple cannon-based level could have worked just as well, but you took it a step further to make it a competition and a mini game, with your little innovation. Many things in this level are well-thought and well-done: I am mainly referencing to the coin pits and the alternate paths (which I am personally a big fan of). The fact that you cannot (or almost not) die, and that failure only gets you a few coins to worsen your score is what is nice in this level: it makes it challenging, but still pretty enjoyable since you don't die and have to restart the whole level. The variety of challenges was rather interesting.

Now I must admit that some parts were rather hard (notably the 4th hole as Harmless pointed out, where a simple error makes you go back to the start of the hole) and could get pretty frustrating after a few tries. Or the level can just be plain easy admitting the player is just not bothered to get in cannons and just walk for it without minding his coin count. A few challenges that require the cannon but didn't include coins (tight passages, tracks) would have been a nice thing to avoid that (but that was done for the 4th and 5th holes).

Graphics were ok. They were not a bless to look at, they were ok. Except that part at the beginning with the wooden wall. That was awesome.

I will rate this a 4/5. Not just because I sucked at it, but because it can indeed be pretty frustrating at points, or just plain easy. This concept can be awesome, but right now it contains flaws that can be fixed in CannoGolf Classic B (if that hopefully happens).

To make it short. To you: accept criticism, especially when it concerns difficulty and lag, consider it like a way of saying "I know you can fix this because you are awesome, so here are the facts", but shorter. To reviewers: don't forget to point out good parts in the levels are well. Just like no level is perfect, no level is bad at a point of having nothing good in it.

I'll be honest about the graphics: I knew they "ok." Because of all the coins, I felt I had to cut back on the graphics to reduce the loading time. I didn't know what to do with the level at the time I was designing the beginning, so that's why I ended up focusing a lot on the graphics there.
Rest assured--CannoGolf Classic B will exist in the future. It abruptly ended with 5 Holes because of the loading time, and I didn't want too many complaints.

Ah, I'm sorry. Didn't mean to sound curt. I tend to ignore most of the good points when giving brief reviews so that I can focus on what to improve on the level, but I think that might've given the wrong idea.

The level itself was still fun and everything (it's addicting to try and get under 200 coins ), but my last post just had to speak for itself.

It's a very cool level! Eating red coins was a perfect calculation and worth every level of challenge! 5/5 STAR.
