Fight your way through a medium-length level, beat all enemies to create the path and survive until the end in this level!

The first two fights were very easy, but still pretty averagely fun. In the beginning, the knight can very easily be killed by just slashing at him while doublejumping on the floor below the platform. The mushrooms were easily trapped in a corner, but I doubt there's anyway to fix this but to just let Runouw make mushrooms less easier to kill. I could easily get through both of these by the 82 second mark, and without losing health. The next parts are the one where I start to lose health and get aggrivated. I really liked this castle part because it requires you to time your eagle kick or whatever you like to call it right to damage the second giant rock monster. Though, the turrets seem like an overkill and ended up killing me quite a few times. It'd be nice if they would disappear after you killed the second rock monster. After fighting the previous three monsters and those annoying turrets, I think I want more than just one small heart. Maybe two or three back would be fine for me. The final part was a pain with the turrets, the monsters were pretty easy to fight with an abuse of eagle kicking, but as said before, it's not really fixable unless runouw does something about it. The mushroom that appears randomly made me laugh, like the bidoof swarm from Pokemon Ranger at the climax. But it still ended up killing me multiple times with help of the turrets.

5 points: Graphics
The graphics were pretty simple throughout the whole thing, no decor really used except in the "castle." The ice was random and the choice of blocks were also pretty...simple. The monsters all had different colourations from their default colouration though, so that's always nice. It's also not bright with too much saturation and such.
2.6/5 (although i guess this level pretty much is testing the concept so graphics don't really matter)

+1 Nice and cool new concept.
+0.6 Nice trigger usage, I like timed levels.


15/20 (which i guess I'd make a 4/5 or 3/5)


that was my first srs review ever, because I know you're a pretty good level designer and you'd probably like srs reviews. Loading times are pretty much non existant in most LL levels and even if it does have a loading time it's pretty fast, so no extra points for that.GG Runouw.

Meh. The fights were generally easy, especially because the Eagle Kick is freakin' OP, and this is why I don't like the idea of a combat-oriented level - it ends up just mainly consisting of mashing the attack button while standing in place and/or eagle kicking.

First fights: Meh

The turrets were okay in the beginning of the "castle", but their placement during the fight against the rock monsters was annoying. I basically stood out of the line and fire and spammed my sword attack in the first fight, and the second fight wasted time as I waited for the big rock to slowly walk out of the turrets' lines of fire.

One heart: Meh

The last fight was just annoying, too, really: Eagle kick, eagle kick, stupid turret, eagle kick, eagle kick, win! Wait... mushroom...? ...Spam the attack button!

Kudos for the timer, though.

So overall: Three "meh"s, a bunch of annoying turrets, and a timer/5

thanks for the feedback, hoped I would get some :3

About the first room - Yes the knight's pretty easy to defeat. Did that on purpose.
About the second room - Yes the mushrooms can get prisoned in the edges on purpose.
About the third room - Okay this was just screwing around with turrets and see what other people say about it
About the last room - yes I know that you can eagle kick spam to defeat the knight and the other enemies
About the graphics - OVERRATEEED
About the timer - Timers make everything better (most of the time)

About the first & second room (and maybe third room): So what? Is it supposed to teach us something? Like how in Megaman they give you a puzzle in an easier, more controlled environment before combining them to make things difficult? (Actually, the third room sort of does that.)
