A Tale of a Moldau - Prologue
A Tale of a Moldau is a level series that focuses on a dramatic, tragic story of a young boy named Heinzlein, who happens to be a Mario fan. He dreams of one day overcoming his primary weakness, his lack of self-confidence and his inability to fight off his nagging doubts. And so one day does he follow a Moldau and begin his journey...

I dearly wish I could be born a different person. This body just does not feel right.

At least that's what I was thinking. But then again my thinking is probably right, despite it being wrong... everything about me is wrong. I've finally faced the truth. I just wanted to be born a different person. Someone who can actually be useful to the community, unlike the person I am. People have told me constantly to just stand up and be a man... just do it, the would say.

But it's not as easy as people say it is. The reason I don't do anything is because everything I do is wrong... Wrong, wrong, wrong.

- I can't deal with it anymore, I heard myself say. The static rings in my head as I wander throughout my mind... was I supposed to be a horrible 12-year-old locked up in a middle class family? Sure, I'm not poor, but money can only buy you so much... and unfortunately they can't buy a less clumsier me.

As I sat in the dark closet in my room, I notice the engraving on the wall. "Heinzlein", it says, named similarly after the rotten pirate that served the Holy Roman Empire... completely anti-hero. It disgusts me, just like everything else about me. Next to my name it says "5'2"". I never liked the number 52 anyway.

I like nothing about this closet... but why am I here then? The darkness, it comforts me, strangely. Takes me away from humanity... so I don't have to embarrass myself in front of humanity all the time. How unfortunate... I wish I could change, grow stronger, or even become someone who can help one day. Someone who can take responsibilities, or even do good for his people. Someone... like Mario.

Whoops. I just realized I forgot to put in a small storyline before the level, since it's crucial to understanding the story.

Fixing it now.
