I'm sorry, but if this is supposedly your best level yet then I might need to say that that's not at all an accomplishment.

I say this because I've looked through a few of your levels and you seem to spend very little time on each and every one of them. If you really want to make something great, you're going to have to work more than a few hours.

Anyways, when I started off I wondered what the point was of falling down a pit only to be brought back up again... kinda defeats the purpose. You might as well should've just started me on the area the platform lead me up to.

As for gameplay and platforming mechanics, I found it very linear and similar to the last. Can you please try putting variety in what we jump on? For example, something other than a green platform, a brick, or a moving block? Or how about a few enemies here and there to make the area seem more dangerous? I don't mean 10 goombas on one platform, I mean 10 goombas at least throughout the level.

As for graphics, my god it was an eyesore. No, that is not a compliment as you might've guessed. First do me a favor and open the level designer in SM63. Then go to the tiles menu and tell me how many individual tiles there are in the level editor. I hope my point is proven then. I would really, REALLY recommend avoiding only using one brick for your entire infrastructure of the level.

Also, there were no graphical details whatsoever. In the Item's tab, there's a third column of decorative items you can place throughout the level to make it more appealing and colorful to the eye. Experiment with them a little bit and find what would best represent a Lava Castle.

There was a proper use of Fludd, but once again that's only the good thing I can say about the level due to the linear platforming. It needs more gimmicks and variety of platforms, and how we go through the level. I want to see more action as opposed to jumping over a flame thrower that was given no modifications in size or duration whatsoever.

It's a start, but I feel like there is so much more that can be molded into the level, and only taking more time to add and experiment with new stuff in the items/tiles menu will help you achieve that.

If you want a more expansive level just increase the size under My Level (which can be found under the file button)
