Edit: Sorry that the sign at the beginning doesn't show you the words (Well at least for me). Its supposed to show that Mario is heading towards a cave

I should let you know that you can edit your posts without double/triple posting (which is often considered spam when unnecessary).

About the sign: it may be a little confusing, but the reason the text isn't showing on that sign is because all of it is surrounded by angle brackets ("<" and ">") in a way that makes them "act" like an HTML code tag. I understand they are being used for arrows, but if you want a fix for future reference you could try reversing the order of what is being directed, or use something else as an arrow.
