Darkwater Caverns

Mario was once again called to inspect the plumbing system, this time in the depths of Darkwater Caverns. Darkwater Haven, once a beautiful resort was bound to experience sanitary issues and problems. However, the amount of sludge found in the resort was incomparable to any other issue they've had in the past. Princess Peach, worried about the safety of the residents, asks Mario to solve the issue, since the previous sanitation toad team was never found, and had lost all communications a few days after their dispatch.

What Mario finds is much more than a simple sanitary issue though... after a few minutes of exploring, he finds a Journal Log of the lost Toad Sanitation Team. Maybe if there were more around, Mario could uncover the truth of the matter, and what happened to the lost brigade.

Edits made to the original LDC Version:

- You can no longer get stuck in an area without FLUDD.
- Exploration was made easier and more decoration was added to bare areas of the Caverns.
- Hover FLUDD is not as obscure as it was before.
- You can't possibly miss the Red Coins if you read the signs now.
- Moved those three coins in the out of boundaries of the level to more appropriate areas.
- Replaced the disabled pipe that gave poor amp and nan a hard time with a less obscure pipe that comes with cool water effects.
