Pretty nice level you got here. It's beutiful, calm, and it actually plays really well. The decoration here is placed really nicely, and the tiling is done really well here too. No lag for me at all, which surprises me considering the big amount of items you placed here.

I have slight lag (20 fps) in the second transition. Yuri, I wish my PC would be as performant as yours

Anyways, it's fun to play indeed, and is also nicely decorated, but it has lots of décors which are not all necessary to make the level look good, especially that tree at the top right is very, very tall. If you want such a tall tree, it's better to create it with tiles (cabin blocks and other brown tiles for the trunk and grass tiles for the crown). And the amount of décors causes a rather huge loading time for a level of this size, you should try to be less wasteful there. Tiles can also contribute a lot to a good look and they don't have any loading time at all. It's also conspicuous that a lot of the grass surfaces are rather plain, a few slopes would make it look more natural, and that there are no coins except from enemies. Collecting coins makes a level more fun in general.

(Also water moves up half a tile compared to it's placement in LDing mode, which causes a bit of water cut-off)

So, if I have to rate this quickly, it's 8/10 in Fun, 4/5 in Graphics and 2/5 in Other because of lag and loading time, overall 14/20 --> 4 stars. That's a very good score for your first level, and the criticism I give you is already rather advanced. So keep it up, you have what it takes.

Can you explain why to me as if I were five? I'm not too good with the whole coding part of games—I just like it when I can build things without too much scripting and whatnot so as far as coding is concerned I have no skill whatsoever.

It's just a bug. The water will rise half in the level compared to where you placed in the level designer. To fix that, you just have to place the water half-tile lower in the level designer than where you want it to be in the game.
