I love the way you used the rotating blocks to make the background more 3D. Probably the best level I've seen in a while! And great choice of music to go along.

Wow. I really wish you would be more active than only one level each year. You're damn good. I guess you even don't know how good you are. This gets definitely one of my fat five stars.

When did you start this level? Could this go into the 29th LDC? (I mean, in my terms it's Grasslands. Even if not, the jungle tiles could be easily converted into grass tiles.)

I'm glad you've enjoyed it I made the terrain look that way to avoid it being bland (cause just a standard wall is quite bland), and to delete some tiles, so the level loads a tiny bit quicker. I'm also glad that you like the music. I was trying to give a moutain-y feel to it, and it was hard with finding music that wasn't previously used.

I started this level many a moon. I sent this level to Harmless on October 10th, 2013 to be exact. So... No I mostly take so long because I am lazy I take judgings to heart and try to improve everything that is wrong (that aside from me having barely any time, frequently lacking motivation, stars not aligning and levels taking a long time). In this case it was me lacking motivation, time and the fact that I didn't take the right things away from the judging. Basically what he said was that the level was simple and "bland" (refering to platforming and variety of challenges presented, and comparing it to my previous level (which I do agree with, since it's meant to be simple)) and I think I was trying to overhaul the level when it didn't need to be. Trying to think of that probably was what discouraged me from working on it, when I could've simply improved other things he had commented on (in this case, originally the red coins were 1-UP mushrooms that were just a side thing to collect, not a separate shine). I am still happy with what he said, just "past me" wasn't... I'm guessing

@EDIT: Also I take so long because my long lost early beginnings were... not exactly pleasant I try to put way more effort nowadays.

@EDIT: Fixed a glitch. Also don't forget to try all the challenges. They're very possible (although you may need to play the level a few times).

Jungle tiles do fit the Grasslands theme btw. The theme would be waaay less cooler if it didn't.

There's some minor cutoff at the second checkpoint's level transition. You might want to check it out.

Also, I'll have to give it to you. This is the best level I've played in a long, long while.

I think I fixed it. It was a kind of cramped elevation in the ground wasn't it? I knew about it, but I didn't want to tamper with the level layout I've created so long ago (though TBH this in't that much of an excuse with something so small ). Also glad you've enjoyed the level.
