We're handling it, we don't need for-hire detectives. Albeit slowly, but y'know, seeing ratings isn't a thing that's coded in.

I do believe it's asdfmoviecaleb as well (apologies if it's not), he posted a level just before I got the downvote, and if you check his profile he's given out three 1 star ratings and he's entered the 29th LDC so he probably assumes a low portal rating will get rid of competition.

Tbh I'm not offended by it at all, I consider it a huge compliment that someone thought my level was that good that it needed a downvote. XD

Wow ... gotta really have respect for your attitude towards this ... I was really offended when Rocky Canyons has been downrated, in fact I was so offended that I've demanded a ban ... I retreat from that, I was just angry. Next time I get downrated, I'll take it easier. But nonetheless, downrating never happens as a compliment, it's really a severe form of trolling or antagonism.

No, I do understand why it would annoy you. Tbh when I saw that other levels from the LDC were getting 5 stars and mine had a 1 star it upset me quite a bit but I guess you just gotta try and look on the positive side of things.

Nah, I'm actually fine now, because I've worked out who the downrater is. So my mind's at rest.

So I’m not sure if this topic is about the level or downvoters, but here’s a review anyways:
(FrozenFire recommended I do this fyi)

First off, I played this level (albeit badly) and shared my first impressions on YouTube, so if you want, you can check out what I have to say there.

Here’s my overall thoughts on the level:

It’s interesting. It’s hard, deep story-wise and well crafted graphically all at the same time, which is not easy to pull off, so kudos to you for that. So yes, it’s great level. But…
I found two things while playing:
One, I couldn’t beat it. At least without cheating. However, I am really rusty at SM63, as you can see in the video, so it’s not that major. I enjoyed playing, if not getting a little frustrated in the process.
What really bothered me however, is the story. I do think it’s interesting and complex, but I found the sudden snap back to reality too sudden, and way too much of a tone shift. To be honest, there wasn’t much story before it, throughout the meadow section. If you were planning to make it about her parents dying, I would have like to see something in said meadow section that indicated it was going to happen, earlier than the bleeding pipe.
All in all though, I like it. If there wasn’t a story and I was rating this based on the great visuals, challenging platforming and just generally the level itself, I’d give you 10/10. However, with my gripes with the story I have to say 9/10.
also i really like the banner for the level

You maybe didn't understand the reference of the story. It was a prequel to my series, Tearing Paper. I was hoping against hope that it was the best level story continuation of mine to do because of the fact that it's my highest scoring series (18/20) and due to this a lot of people will have played it.

But if you didn't understand it, that's fine. Neither am I gonna tell you to go play TP now. But I just wanted to clarify that.
