That was too much of "retro" in my opinion. Although the constant use of light blue mosaic tiles is interesting, the level looks far too shabby, with way too many cutoffs, and the upper areas really look plain and boring. This is not a village for me, this is emptiness. There could be coins, a few enemies, and a bit more gameplay than crossing flame towers and running through thwomps. Besides, this level feels very unoriginal. Considering all of this, I have to give one star, sorry.

I agree with supershroom on the enemy and coin issue, but i *kind* of liked the whole retro idea. That said, the level could have been longer, and with more challenges. 2/5

Honestly, I liked a lot of the concept of this level. It felt really well executed on the first part, but you could have made better use of it on the other two sections. I feel that if you continue going for unique ideas like this one, you are going pretty far.

I'll give 3 stars this time, but if you improve it with more enemies, and adding more to the somewhat lacking underground/castle parts, your score would be higher. Keep the good job up!
