Since people rarely uses goonies,here's a guide on how to control your very own goonie.

1. Descending: When you stand on a goonie,it slowly descends. Contrary to popular beliefs,ground pound doesn't actually make goonies descend faster.
2. Ascending: Whenever you're off the goonie,it will fly upward. Keep doing short hops to make the goonie fly higher,or just switch into a different goonie.
3. Glide Control: Goonies might glide when you're off them. You can intercept them by standing on them again,or prevent it altogether by standing on it more often. Do note that goonies are much faster when gliding,so you're better off switching goonies.

Walkthrough for the goonies section:
You will want to catch the higher goonies,so you get more goonies to stand on when the one you're riding glides.
Use the skelegoonies and the bullet bills to quicken your horizontal movement.
Avoid triple jumping,chances are your goonie will glide before you can obtain enough speed for the third jump.
There will be two towers ahead. The first tower can block you if you're flying too high,avoid this by slowly descend before making contact with it. The second tower is your destination,you have to utilize double jumps and a bit of goonie jumping to reach the tower.
This is one section where Hover FLUDD can't help as much as others.
