Awful level, Lets see.
One- So easy.. There is no challenge, whatsoever.
two- You can exploit your way to the top.
Three- The top layer, The one before the shine, is really pointless.

Just a few tips:
- Add a ceiling on each level.
- More decoration, A bland level is boring.
- Give more of a challenge. Ohh no... Running from falling blocks... I'm so scared.

1/5 Git gud.

That's a horrible and arrogant review, just to let you know.

Basically, Pawn summed up the issues of this level quite precisely, it's just about the wording.

There is some decoration, but no scenery - grass at the bottom, grass at the top, that's it already. The thwomps aren't precisely placed (this is what the Ctrl button is good for) and besides from the pipes being layered in front of thwomps, they appear uncovered once the thwomps go down (in other words, that's cutoff). It would be more effective if there was some ceiling above the thwomps (grass, bricks, whatever). All in all, it's a very short level, a lazy effort.

Some future advices for you, Cliffy:
  • Try to spend more time and try to make the level larger, or at least build in some decent gameplay.
  • Scenery is important, and a reasonable amount of décor is important. The tilesets of the Designer and the shapes therein allow for plenty of possibilities.
  • Pay attention to layering (aka the order you're placing items), as this determines which item will appear in front of the other.
  • Test your level before submitting. If you playtest, you'll easily notice the possibility of climbing up the thwomps directly.

I'd like to start off with an apology for the atrocious "review" I gave to you. The things I said in there were truly horrible and not helpful one bit. I am not asking for forgiveness because nothing in the world will be-able to retract the cruel words I have said. I feel utterly horrible; I am ashamed.

In an act of possible retribution, I played your level once more and I will give a proper review:
Cons:
-Yes, it is a rather easy level.
-Decoration is rather sparse here.
Pros:
-I can tell that you tried. Even if the level isn't top tier quality, doesn't mean that you didn't take what you know and find fun and apply it to your creation.
Tips (Redone):
-Add more of a setting, it adds personality to the level and more of a sense of what you are doing.
-Decoration is definitely a must. It goes hand and hand with setting, it adds personality.
-For Gameplay I would suggest trying new methods of puzzle or obstacle that make people think outside the box. Maybe look at examples of others works and obstacles.
-Keep trying. Don't let people bring you down. The moment you give up, is the moment they win.

I realize this is a bit late and you probably have already improved on your level designer skills, but I feel that I owed you an apology and a proper review.
I just wish that I had realized sooner.
Good luck out there.
