Guys. Play this level. It's fantastic and it has to go into WITBLO15.

The only main flaws is the ending area looking rather bland compared to the rest, some small issues of overlapping twisted branches and using blocks as springs instead of 180-speed-platforms (takes several tries to reach the height), but everything else was just fantastic. The difficulty and the arrangement of blocks and flipping platforms was very accurate to be tricky but not too tricky. Great job, illusion, this gets 5 stars from me.

EDIT: forgot to mention that replaying the left transition with the invisiblity star could be pulled of better if it was a time challenge, because without limited time it's just a replay indeed

Great graphics, good usage of desert bricks and grass tiles and décor is nice. Gameplay is a bit tricky but it's very good.

Might as well as give this level a review.

Fun: 6/10
The platforming segments in this level are really nothing special,it feels really bland. Not to mention how tedious the first few segments are (Falling off the roofs in the first area completely resets everything),making retrying a pain. Not really fun for me,to be honest.

Graphics: 4/5
I like the combination of tiles you pulled off here. It really shows the temple's detail. Like,you have a sewer system that flows at the bottom of the temple,and ancient gizmos on the ceiling.
However,the temple's first area and last area don't really look good in comparison. They feel a lot blander than the other areas. The first area lacks details,and the giant blocks in the last area don't really work out well.

Others: (Starts from 3) 3.5
+1: Using springs as utilities in the level.
-0.5: The transition bar on the right of the first area almost blinds the entire chunk of land that supports the transition to the next area.

Total Score: 13.5/20 :rarrow:

4 Stars.

It's probably not WITBLO material,but it's awesome for portal standards.

WITBLO is a yearly judging event that aims to find out the best level of the year. It stands for "What Is The Best Level Of (Insert last two digits of the yearcount)". So,this year's WITBLO is called WITBLO15.
There's also going to be a WITBLOAT (AT stands for All Time),but I'm not sure when will that be done.

Unlike LDCs (Stands for Level Designer Contest),WITBLO's entries are decided by community members through suggesting in the WITBLO topic. This means that Portal LDers have a chance to get their levels shine brightly without being bounded by LDC themes.

About the level itself, Peter, didn't you notice the SMC-like path split in the third transition (SMC = Super Mario Countdown) and the clever non-linear structure as a whole?

(Just saying,we should move this conversation into the chat,so we don't make the back-to-back discussion too intense)

I did notice how the level splits into three paths,but unlike in SMC,it's not done very well.

I did commend him on making the lower path a sewer,adding onto the details of the temple. However,the two other paths don't really differ (And they meet up midway through,making their purpose even more obsolete).
Also,in the last area of the top path,there's a really obscure gap that you can jump through just barely. It's like he's punishing me for going onto the top path (The middle path only has a simple spring,and that's it.).
