Champions's Path
You all know I haven't been on in a while, and i don't know if I'll be on again, but this is a level I've wanted to make for a while, so here it is, the hardest (but possible!) level I've ever made

I must unfortunately say that I did not enjoy this for various reasons. Mostly there is too many bullet bills and too few health to recover. It's more like a place of forced torture than a place suited for showing gameplay skills (at least this applies for the first transition).

At the start, 10 bob-ombs manage to cause awful lag (about 10 fps). The block is agonizingly slow. Further on, the bullet bills fire too often and you're surrounded by them making you lose lots of health. Also remember that each chasing bullet bill station can spawn three bullet bills at a time, so if you put a row of five of these things, it's an overkill. Especially if you want to use them for climbing up. And then there's a lava field at the end, requiring at least 4 healths left to survive it? Oh boy.

You also need another level transition because the opening transition is quite large, causing a huge loading time everytime when starting the level. This may require a few restructuring but should definitely be done.

The asteroids field is better, but looking through it will take further deaths. A checkpoint is necessary, even if you don't want us to give one. Also the four flames right at the wing cap turn on again way too quickly.

I'm not rating this right now, I hope you fix all that. And if you can stay on the site for longer, you can also try out the 30th LDC if you want.

1 star: (0 - 5.75 in LDC) These levels need a lot of work. They're totally un-elaborated, and/or inherently flawed due to things like cutoff or enemy spam, or they're untested and there are too many bugs gameplay-wise, in short: Many many things went wrong in such a level.

2 stars: (6 - 9.75) These levels are not terrible, but poor. They're too short, lack scenery or they have errors and/or bugs but it's still barely enjoyable. Again, spend more effort and try to do better. (if it's your first level that I rate two stars, it's not bad. There's a long way you can still go)

3 stars: (10 - 12.75) These levels are about mediocre. They may be still a little bit short, the gameplay is fine but not very original and graphics are also solid, but not breath-taking. Try to keep improving!

4 stars: (13 - 15) These levels are nice, but not the best. Effort has been put into them, there can some professionality be seen in gameplay and graphics, they're a nice experience to play, but there are still things you can do to make it even better. Try to go the extra mile!

5 stars: (15.25 - 20) These are really great levels, those which, as said, I would give more than 15 in an LDC. These suffice many high requirements, and it already goes into subtleties if you want to make them better. These levels are successful all around. Bravo.

I'll say this: Interesting level, but work on what Shroom said.

If you're going to use stairs inside a castle and have walls, either use the blue brick stairs if your using that kind of wall, or use bushes or rocks to cover up that open patch.

Other than that, there's some decent design, but if people like Shroom aren't enjoying it that much, maybe test it out yourself to see what's wrong and fix it.
If you're at all interested, the 30th LDC is still open.

The moving thin block platforms are not that good.

They move in a pattern that just makes climbing on them very annoying,if not,nearly impossible.



This isn't "hard",this is "annoying" and adds no depths to the difficulty the level needed (as the level name implies).
