World 1-3
Yay! New level,and it's the hardest one yet.
Mario's journey to save Peach takes him out of the Mushroom Caves,across Koopa River,and over The Green Block Fort. Anyway,I expect that Level 1-2 is better then this one,as there are some annoying platforming parts toward the end of this level.

I actually think that the platforming towards the end was done well, and avoided making the level too easy. Timing jumps next to a giant spinning block was even innovative. My suggestions rather pertain at the scenery itself being a little low in the first two transitions, and especially in the first the path is under a giant solid landmass. There could be more holes in the ground above, and using the "dot" tiles of the Jungle set here and then makes it look more natural.

Also, speaking of the block, the trees up there all show in front of the block, since you placed them afterwards, so either delete and re-place the block (to make it layered in front of the trees) or re-arrange them directly in the code.

I can agree, the giant rotating block is a great idea indeed. The final transition is what really makes this a good level, I liked the fact that you placed grounds and a sling star on a seemingly bottomless pit so I didn't have to start all over for failing a jump.

4 stars, because I really love the block idea, but it's rather short and the details could've been better.
