Other than a second "hidden" 1-Up, I don't see any differences between this level and the tons of SMB1 1-1 remake levels that there are nowadays. The hidden area is more of a hindrance than a help, as you skip Red Coins and you have to go through the level again. It's not bad, but it wasn't that fun, either. I'll give it a 2 star rating.

I'm assuming that second "hidden" 1-up was supposed to be the Yoshi egg in Super Mario Bros DX. But not much to say here because this is pretty much just another SMB 1-1 remake out of many that were posted here. At least adding red coins made it slightly different, although they're hardly hidden to be challenging (again I know they're based on SMB DX). Also, just wanna point out you got the height of one of the iconic pipes wrong.
My main complaint is that the secret area looked too narrow compared to the original, and you could've used something like blue bricks instead of the cave tiles with abrupt edges (cut-off).
