With a Rocket FLUDD, you can Rocket Boost to the large, medium sized patch of lava, which you can bounce in to get a shine that is on the thwomp. However, without looking into the designer, I didn't figure out that the very small actual level was a very small island that had a large and nearly unavoidable pit of lava, and the sling star doesn't actually take you there. It bounces you off of the large, medium sized patch of lava's side and sends you in the wrong direction, meaning that you need to go a different direction to get to the level. While I have enjoyed most of this series I didn't like this level. Sadly, it's a 1 star.
