Hey, just wanted to let you know that this is a really neat idea... but I can't figure out how to work it. I'm following up to hitting the shell down the lane, but can't for the life of me figure out how the retrieval/scoring mechanism is supposed to work. I approved this level because it's a really neat idea, but would love if you could explain a little more how it's intended to function- it's quite confusing. Just hit the black-and-red Edit button in the top right to replace the code, it'll save you the trouble of waiting for someone to approve it again.

My apologies if it's just a technical issue on my end. SM63 can be finicky at times, and maybe this is just one of those cases. :p

I think it'd be better to update the level to fix this, however I have an explanation that's a bit wonky. Thank you for the approval btw
This shouldn't have to be a question, I should've made this more clear. I will add more signs and edit the existing one to be on a more on-level experience.
I will update it tomorrow after school.

I'll start with the bowling process.

Just press the switch to get your ball first, walk to the shell to push it out but don't bowl it yet.
Wait for the ? timer to end (the interactive blocks to disappear). Then, shoot your ball, count how many shyguys are retrieved when you do the retrieval process.

I'll tell you the retrieval process now.

Once the shell is in its little hole after you shoot it, the shyguys you hit should fall in there as well. (I'm fixing this part, it sometimes works and it sometimes doesn't).

Now, go back to the switch to enable the blocks to appear.
This will push entities into the ball area and a floating platform will return your shell to you and give you a nice viewing point on how many shyguys there are.
Repeat the process by retrieving your shell, and do what I said before.
This is one set. Remember that spares and strikes don't exist, their properties would be too complicated.
You can go to some random bowling card website to calculate it if you like.
