I think that 63 silver stars are just lead you to the Shine Sprite. And they are unnecessary if you put like this.
And I'd like to see more enemies but not just Cheap-cheap fish. You can also pue some flame towers or bullet bills (You can't put many bullet bills,that will make the level much laggy).
There is no mistakes of tiling. But you can use more kinds of tiles to make your level looks better.
There are too many breakable tiles in your level. That makes the level very laggy.
Last you can try pushing "Ctrl" button to snap the items into 8*8 grid. That can make your items more orderly.
Anyway, for this is your first level, I give you 2/5 stars instead of 1.
