My comment: Overall it is an awesome level, good job!

A neat level I must say. However, I find that placing enemies near transitions seems a bit unfair in my book. Some of the decor didn't exactly fit the grass-desert theme either.(take the snow tree for instance.)

I also got stuck at one part where I kept getting squished and couldn't escape.

Although I only had to restart the level only once so it wasn't too bad.
I still found this level great though. 5/5 from me.

The problem with this is that, if you do it incorrectly and get stuck, you lose control of Mario and he gets crushed to death. It's partially a flaw of the game itself since it doesn't push you out of the gap.

We can't move and get out of the narrow gap too if there isn't the problem. So it's exactly normal. I think it is not a flaw of the game.

And that's my main issue with this level, tbh. While it's possible to get past by diving through the gap, the fact that there's only so few space makes it really hard to perform the dive correctly. And it's near-impossible to avoid that Paratroopa without the invincibility star, said star's duration is too tight unless you're prepared for it. Many times I end up getting knocked straight into the gap (and getting squished to death) before I can even collect that red coin above.

I originally gave this 4 stars because of the aforementioned gap, but on second thought, since that's just one part of a decent level, I guess it's no reason to drop a star despite all the effort, so 4.5 rounded up to 5 stars.
That being said, I still wanna point a few other minor flaws out, such as enemies being too close to the transition (as Jumbo already mentioned), and the lava directly under that "volcano" entrance just didn't give me enough time to avoid, which pretty much kills me off since it's nearly impossible to escape once I touch that lava.

Just a few quick things about the graphics: There's a bit of tile cut-offs in some areas such as the desert tiles on the volcano.
It could also look more natural if some of the trees are rotated, because pretty much every tree has the same default angle of 0.

Yes, I just add it. I think this level is not too hard for some advanced players so I put some site missions into this level.
By the way, I have to say that my record can be broken, not impossible, actually I collect 272 coins.
