Bowser's illusion castle
Hello and welcome to my new series! Yeah.. I lost my old account and now I am using this and also this level is kinda poorly made so please don't judge me. Anyway, be ready to join Mario and his friends to an epic adventure in the scorching heat of the deserts! Hope you guys enjoy it and please rate!

It's a great level with an interesting story, despite it being told in a billion signs, but I'm fine with it. I felt by the middle part of the level you kinda ran out of ideas or started putting together random obstacles. It's a fair challenge, but doesn't fit with the overall desert theme, except that one tree that acts as a platform. I'll be waiting for the second part.

yeah originally it was suppose the be the Secret Course #2 music but I changed it back to desert theme, i guess i better think better next time lol, and surely the next is gonna be far better but since i got school to deal with, it won't be coming very soon, but I'll try my best

SM63 Level Collections

Now may I judge this level a bit? Generally, a level with interesting storyline can easily get high score.
Level quality (1/5 star): This level is neither too hard nor too easy, and the graphics is pretty good (30 fps on my computer)! |+1 star|
In-game playing (2/5 stars): Enjoyable storyline,|+2 stars| and the whole level is not boring at all, pretty tilesets.|+1 stars| But the flying part is hard, I tried a few times to pass it. I think mario shouldn't go die when he doesn't fly onto the cloud. |-1 star|
Other (2/5 stars): Tiles do not fit theme (Why ice blocks appear in the desert?), |-1 star| No Cut-offs,|+1 star| and a warm hint: You can press "ctrl" button when placing items. It can snap items into 8*8 grid to make the level more ordered. |0 star, it's free|

I have rated so many levels but I didn't obey any rules. Here is my own rating standard. ( New judging standards! )



I'll give each level an unoffical overview with 100 points in total.



1.Level Quality: (25/100 points): Include level diffculty, graphics and the designing of the level. If a level is so hard or laggy that I can't pass this star will immediately be lost. And if a level is so easy that I can EASILY pass it, I'll cost scores according to the circumstances.
How to judge if a level is laggy:

FPS: 26+: Good.

FPS: 20-26: Not very good, but it can be accepted.

FPS: 14-20: Bad.
FPS: 14-: Terrible, I can't stand!

2.In-game playing: (45/100 points): Include level decoration, the use of tiles. And if this level is interesting, fascinating and chellenging, etc.



3.Other (30/100 points): Mistakes, bugs and warm tips. If there is any bugs that can't let me pass the level, I'll reduce a lot of points..



Final rating:
0-29 = 1 star
25-59 = 2 stars

60-74 = 3 stars
75-84 = 4 stars
85-100 = 5 stars

Now may I judge this level a bit? Generally, a level with interesting storyline can easily get high score.
Level quality (1/5 star): This level is neither too hard nor too easy, and the graphics is pretty good (30 fps on my computer)! |+1 star|
In-game playing (2/5 stars): Enjoyable storyline,|+2 stars| and the whole level is not boring at all, pretty tilesets.|+1 stars| But the flying part is hard, I tried a few times to pass it. I think mario shouldn't go die when he doesn't fly onto the cloud. |-1 star|
Other (2/5 stars): Tiles do not fit theme (Why ice blocks appear in the desert?), |-1 star| No Cut-offs,|+1 star| and a warm hint: You can press "ctrl" button when placing items. It can snap items into 8*8 grid to make the level more ordered. |0 star, it's free|

Final rating: 3/5 stars. Just remember that make tour level fit theme. Keep on making storyline and you can post level series on this site:

There was an ice block? nope, that was for the window incase you had common sense there (no offense), plus yeah, i had no time left to make the rest of the level so it got a little boring and bad but next time i'll try better (why judge me ;-;)

I never think this is a bad level that we can't judge it. It is pretty good. And I understand you that you have a little time to create levels. Just do your best.
And I finally know why you put a ice ( actually it's glass ) in your level. It's my fault.
You can see, as a newcomer more than a year, my level was not good yet. Just explore the LD and you will make excellent levels! :)

My rating standards: show
I have rated so many levels but I didn't obey any rules. Here is my own rating standard. ( New judging standards! )



I'll give each level an unoffical overview with 100 points in total.



1.Level Quality: (25/100 points): Include level diffculty, graphics and the designing of the level. If a level is so hard or laggy that I can't pass this star will immediately be lost. And if a level is so easy that I can EASILY pass it, I'll cost scores according to the circumstances.
How to judge if a level is laggy:

FPS: 26+: Good.

FPS: 20-26: Not very good, but it can be accepted.

FPS: 14-20: Bad.
FPS: 14-: Terrible, I can't stand!

2.In-game playing: (45/100 points): Include level decoration, the use of tiles. And if this level is interesting, fascinating and chellenging, etc.



3.Other (30/100 points): Mistakes, bugs and warm tips. If there is any bugs that can't let me pass the level, I'll reduce a lot of points..



Final rating:
0-29 = 1 star
25-59 = 2 stars

60-74 = 3 stars
75-84 = 4 stars
85-100 = 5 stars



I'll continue updating these rules and I'll use these rules to rate levels.

Quite good level but platforming and graphics can be improved (such floating signs and flying section). 3/5 stars.

All of my SM63 levels (except Moonlight Fireflies Forest, Frost Citadel and Silent Seabed) now use Jhynjhiruu and Forgotten's respawning.swf so make sure you are connected to the internet and use the full version!

Give an unofficial overview:
All points 100
Difficulty: 20/20(easy-medium, suitable for almost every player)
Graphics: 10/10(excellent, around 30 fps)
In-game playing: 28/40(The gameplay can almost get full score 38/40, and I don't know why you set up a fludd for "suck at sudoku" purposes, because this level pretty much has got nothing to do with sudoku.. sry but -10)
Other: 18/30(not reeally good at using tiles, you can really work more on graphics 5/15, same goes for the item uses 5/15. And.. Awesome storyline +8 extra points!)
Total: 76/100
My star rating: 4/5
My comment: This is a fairly good level with good storyline. Just work on graphics more to make the level more pretty, and that will make a 5 star level. I am looking forward to the part 2, good job on this!

This is my Portal rating standards:
I give every level a overview with a total of 100 points.
1. Difficulty(20 points): I will take points off depending on how far has the level been beyond easy or hard. But generally, most of the levels should get full points on this.
2. Graphics(10 points): I will take points off depending on how laggy this level is. Again, generally, most of the levels should get full points on this.
detailed standards on this:
>25 fps: 10/10
20-25 fps: 6-9/10
15-20 fps:1-5/10
<15 fps:0/10
3. In-game playing(40 points): This score shows how fun, playable and unique this level is.
detailed standards on this:
30-40:excellent
20-30:good
10-20:ok
<10:poor
4. Other(30 points):I will give points on this depending on how well does the level use the tiles and items(15 points each).And all points from special rules are added here.
Overall:
0-29/100:1☆
30-49/100:2☆
50-69/100:3☆
70-89/100:4☆
>90/100:5☆

!!!Special Rules!!!
1. If I see any cutoffs-any at all, at least 10 points will be lost.
2. If level does not fit theme, 25 points will be lost.
3. If there's anything that's extraordinarily inspiring and unique, I will add extra points.
4. The harshness of my rating, that means how strict I am while rating the level depends on how long has the author been designing.
5. If there're any flaws that doesn't pertain to all rules above, I will deduct points within reason.
