I'll give each level an unoffical overview with 100 points in total.



1.Level Quality: (25/100 points): Include level diffculty, graphics and the designing of the level. If a level is so hard or laggy that I can't pass this star will immediately be lost. And if a level is so easy that I can EASILY pass it, I'll cost scores according to the circumstances.
How to judge if a level is laggy:

FPS: 26+: Good.

FPS: 20-26: Not very good, but it can be accepted.

FPS: 14-20: Bad.
FPS: 14-: Terrible, I can't stand!

Here is a tutorial that can prevent a "laggy" level:Why is a Level Laggy?
Tutorial that can make better text in LD: Coming Soon!



2.In-game playing: (45/100 points): Include level decoration, the use of tiles. And if this level is interesting, fascinating and chellenging, etc.



3.Other (30/100 points): Mistakes, bugs and warm tips. If there is any bugs that can't let me pass the level, I'll reduce a lot of points..

If you ask me, this level should totally be in a sm63 castle secret star. Really nice. :D
But of course... complicated platformers drive me nuts... and I had to cheat by placing Mario right next to where I failed or died... and the fact when I'm THAT close, some rotating block mashes me into the wall and throws me into the eternal abyss of the out of bounds realm... and probably most people would look at the level and think "My god what is that torture device? I don't really want to be part of it" and instantly leave... But I think the level is still awesome. Nice puzzles, good difficulty and wicked tile design. You sir probably created your level with love, thinking "Lol, these guys have no idea what's in store for them," and of course the evil sign. My only problem is that block mash out of bounds glitch... But I really like the level. :)

Thanks a lot for reviewing! I think moving blocks crash Mario can be more diffcult than normal items. But I think it is not very hard t pass. I forget to put level transitions into this level. So it becomes very laggy when playing this level.

No no, I'm not talking about the difficulty of moving blocks. Those are fine. I think you missed my point. See, your level is a little buggy around the edges. While playing I got knocked out of bounds thrice on accident. You know, when mario gets squished into a wall and then the camera rises and falls, and finally you see mario eternally (literally he falls forever no dying) plummeting with the backdrop of the level. Right when I was about to finish the level with no switch controlled blocks, with invisibility and metal cap I fell on a moving block which chose to turn and... Out of bounds. I'm just stating the bug, which is harmful and frustrating. Potentially it could cut off a star rating in my book. But what do I know? I'm a newbie with a Luigi profile pic. Uhhhhh... I hope I helped... I think...

Since this level is very small,
Ill give a brief review:
I like the fact that you have to reach one powerup to another in order to get the shine, and your tile and item choices were excellent, this level is very fun. 5/5 stars.

This is my Portal rating standards:
I give every level a overview with a total of 100 points.
1. Difficulty(20 points): I will take points off depending on how far has the level been beyond easy or hard. But generally, most of the levels should get full points on this.
2. Graphics(10 points): I will take points off depending on how laggy this level is. Again, generally, most of the levels should get full points on this.
detailed standards on this:
>25 fps: 10/10
20-25 fps: 6-9/10
15-20 fps:1-5/10
<15 fps:0/10
3. In-game playing(40 points): This score shows how fun, playable and unique this level is.
detailed standards on this:
30-40:excellent
20-30:good
10-20:ok

4. Other(30 points):I will give points on this depending on how well does the level use the tiles and items(15 points each).And all points from special rules are added here.
Overall:

!!!Special Rules!!!
1. If I see any cutoffs-any at all, at least 10 points will be lost.
2. If level does not fit theme, 25 points will be lost.
3. If there's anything that's extraordinarily inspiring and unique, I will add extra points.
4. The harshness of my rating, that means how strict I am while rating the level depends on how long has the author been designing.
5. If there're any flaws that doesn't pertain to all rules above, I will deduct points within reason.

Sometimes when Mario crashes into a wall, he will go upwards to the top and never falls down even though it is empty under Mario.
Or he will fall endlessly, and the background will change bofore long.

I actually experimented with that. As it turns out the stage has 3 walls, impossible to pass through except via warp pipe and getting mashed through the ceiling and the bottom floor which if you touch mario dies, because that wall is the botttomlesss pit. When mario gets crushed into the tile wall the game gets confused and tries to put him on top of the tile wall. But most of us stretch the tile walls to the very top of the level ceiling, so mario ends up outside the stage. He can walk around the top of the level with the upper boundary acting as a floor. But if you walk over the the x limits of the level mario falls off the ceiling boundary, and falls under the level. Since the bottom level floor, only extends to the x limits of the level and mario passes that on the ceiling boundary mario misses the killer death trigger of the bottomless pit and ends up falling forever with the only way out being pausing and exiting the level. The camera also gets confused, and either focuses on the level, or mario falling forever. When you get mashed into the walls the camera rises to mario's position on the ceiling, and then the camera falls because mario went off the x limits and is now falling forever. Man it would be AWESOME if we can make a level based on these mechanics!

In Bowser's castle there is also a bug like this.
When I was ready to beat robot Bowser, Mario fell down and went to the bottom of the castle. A few seconds later, I saw Mario didn't die, just fell endlessly.
More problems are mentioned by PM.

1.Level Quality: (25/100 points): Include level diffculty, graphics and the designing of the level. If a level is so hard or laggy that I can't pass this star will immediately be lost. And if a level is so easy that I can EASILY pass it, I'll cost scores according to the circumstances.
How to judge if a level is laggy:

FPS: 26+: Good.

FPS: 20-26: Not very good, but it can be accepted.

FPS: 14-20: Bad.
FPS: 14-: Terrible, I can't stand!

2.In-game playing: (45/100 points): Include level decoration, the use of tiles. And if this level is interesting, fascinating and chellenging, etc.



3.Other (30/100 points): Mistakes, bugs and warm tips. If there is any bugs that can't let me pass the level, I'll reduce a lot of points..



Final rating:
0-29 = 1 star
25-59 = 2 stars

60-74 = 3 stars
75-84 = 4 stars
85-100 = 5 stars
