Big Bully Onslaught
Mario, you and me. To the finish. Your little strategy won't work this time, for, slaying me would mean FAILURE! Battle me, bully to bully and let the stand off drag out until one of us falls for, where I go, SO MUST YOU! Drag me down my tower of fiery fury and just try! Lose, and make me proud. Win, and force shame on me, and take this shine sprite... IF YOU CAN FORCE ME INTO SUBMISSION!

Uh, we can skip the flame tower if we get crashed by enemies/bullet bills/flame tower before. So change into lava will be better (For example the flame tower next to the door).

I'll give each level an unoffical overview with 100 points in total.



1.Level Quality: (25/100 points): Include level diffculty, graphics and the designing of the level. If a level is so hard or laggy that I can't pass this star will immediately be lost. And if a level is so easy that I can EASILY pass it, I'll cost scores according to the circumstances.
How to judge if a level is laggy:

FPS: 26+: Good.

FPS: 20-26: Not very good, but it can be accepted.

FPS: 14-20: Bad.
FPS: 14-: Terrible, I can't stand!

Here is a tutorial that can prevent a "laggy" level:Why is a Level Laggy?
Tutorial that can make better text in LD: Coming Soon!



2.In-game playing: (45/100 points): Include level decoration, the use of tiles. And if this level is interesting, fascinating and chellenging, etc.



3.Other (30/100 points): Mistakes, bugs and warm tips. If there is any bugs that can't let me pass the level, I'll reduce a lot of points..



Final rating:
0-29 = 1 star
25-59 = 2 stars

60-74 = 3 stars
75-84 = 4 stars
85-100 = 5 stars

It's good enough... If I were to use lava, then the whole battle with big bully would be meaningless. I don't know if you know, but the point of the level is to bring the big bully into the bone platform and into the cage, using the red bullet bills to force him in if necessary. Once done, you can use him as a stepping stone to walk over the fire. If I used lava, he would melt and that would NOT be acceptable. If the player is that good to make a precise jump over the fire, let it be as a small error of the level, so that at least the players would say "lol we too smart for level. We pwn bully emotionally with our supreme jumping ability and steal shine"
Personal satisfaction at getting it the way you're not supposed to. That's why glitches and skips are so popular.
By the way, congrats on winning that medal bro!

Oh I forgot the big bully. But I passed it without using it.We can use bullet bills to reach the platform, and get crashed by a bullet bill (in purpose, after Mario crashes on it, he will be given a short time of invincibility) and then pass the gate and reach the door. So there are still some issue in this level.
Btw I just got a 5th place, so I'll keep working on level designing.

Haha! Dude, first try, 5th place. Nice! Besiiiiiiiiides, did you umm, actually try to beat the level the way you are supposed to? Or did you just say, "I'm too much of a boss for this"
No offense! I'm just saying that, is it good or baaaaad? Getting the trap for the bully was no easy task my friend. I sort of tried to make a trigger for beating big bully, and this was the best I could think of. The level IS sort of random, but as a boss level, what do you think? And yeah I know it is a complete pain, letting the bully go off screen and letting him respawn to the beginning mid fight. And I only put limited healing for the first few phases, but how is it overall? You didn't vote, and I'm not necessarily asking you to, but please comment your rating. Btw I'm building a swamp palace for sm63.

This scene doesn't have big bully and I passed the gate (I didn't use a practice jump, but just walk through the flame tower).

After touching bullet bills, Mario will get a short time of invincibility.
I have a possible solution, put a moving platform on the ground and delete all the bullet bills, and the big bully will be useful.
If you didn't notice that the big bully is useful, nearly every player would beat it at first (include me).
Anyway, this is the first level that make a big bully as a friend to finish this level.
Pretty good and creative level. I give you 4/5.

After touching bullet bills, Mario will get a short time of invincibility.
I have a possible solution, put a moving platform on the ground and delete all the bullet bills, and the big bully will be useful.
If you didn't notice that the big bully is useful, nearly every player would beat it at first (include me).
Anyway, this is the first level that make a big bully as a friend to finish this level.
Pretty good and creative level. I give you 4/5.

No offense at turning down your suggestion, but the bullets need to stay. The black ones are the ones that murder you, while the red ones are your allies. If you let the bully chase you to the right, and wait for the red bullet, the bully gets a lot of momentum from his running and the bullet pushing him, and if you're lucky that no black bullets are slowing you or the bully, you can jump at the last second and the bully gets forced in to his prison. If there are no bullets, difficulty falls to zero, but I will DEFINITELY tone down mr. Black bullet cannon. Thing gives me a headache and should be simpler. Thanks for bringing this to notice, or I would have never considered changing the level.
Who do you prefer, mario or luigi?

Since your ability of LDing is higher than me when I first found this website, I believe that you can make big progress, keep on!
I am looking forward it! And try to avoid laggy levels.

My rating standards: show
I have rated so many levels but I didn't obey any rules. Here is my own rating standard. ( New judging standards! )



I'll give each level an unoffical overview with 100 points in total.



1.Level Quality: (25/100 points): Include level diffculty, graphics and the designing of the level. If a level is so hard or laggy that I can't pass this star will immediately be lost. And if a level is so easy that I can EASILY pass it, I'll cost scores according to the circumstances.
How to judge if a level is laggy:

FPS: 26+: Good.

FPS: 20-26: Not very good, but it can be accepted.

FPS: 14-20: Bad.
FPS: 14-: Terrible, I can't stand!

2.In-game playing: (45/100 points): Include level decoration, the use of tiles. And if this level is interesting, fascinating and chellenging, etc.



3.Other (30/100 points): Mistakes, bugs and warm tips. If there is any bugs that can't let me pass the level, I'll reduce a lot of points..



Final rating:
0-29 = 1 star
25-59 = 2 stars

60-74 = 3 stars
75-84 = 4 stars
85-100 = 5 stars
