This is your first level? The design and aesthetics are very good and not what you commonly see out of first levels. However, there are a few tips I can offer you which have been told to me before that can make your skills a little better.

1. Lag
My computer isn't exactly the best, but it can play this game pretty easily. People do not like to deal with lag when playing a level. Thankfully, there was not much here, but if the level were longer it could easily get annoying. Be sure to put level transitions where they're necessary and even remove some enemies or other objects if it helps. Decorations usually do not cause much lag.

2. Tiling
Most people use combinations of tilesets to make walls look nice. I do not see that in this level, so maybe you could try it sometime? Make sure you use tiles that look nice together and somewhat capture the feeling you want. Remember that you should do this with wall tiles too.
