You wouldn't mind if I steal your idea and use this concept, do you?

I don't mind at all. It's nice to see people getting interested about this simple concept.

Also can't find the 3D modding stuff. Sorry JRFD.

I have an idea, although it's LOADED with triggers.

First person. In first person, the player only sees what you would see in real life. (Also, it makes ghosts much easier to make)

Sorry if yo already knew this! ;)

I don't think that would be possible at all. I'm quite sure about the next type being random generated dungeons/levels. I'm curious if these are possible after one of the next updates. Or already now?

Also thanks to everyone for giving something very tiny and simple this much attention. *cheers*

I see you have discovered my secret project I have been working on. I can no longer let you live.

I have actually spoken to Runouw about this. viewtopic.php?f=53&t=40812#p256721

Long story short:
AwesomeJRFD: Also, will variables be able to be used as relative and absolute in Move Item, Move Character, Move Camera, and Change Tile?
AwesomeJRFD: That, combined with a rand function will make randomly generated levels possible.
Runouw: woah
Runouw: I never thought of that
Runouw: hmmm
Runouw: I can certainly try to make variables possible to place in all of those places

Oh. You beat me to it, already some time ago, without me knowing it.
You are an experienced designer I see. Well. Let's see what both of us are capable of in the future. ;)

Randomly generated dungeons huh? Hmmmmm. While pseudo-random might be the result, I might just take up this challenge. Of course, don't expect to see it anytime soon.

I have to say, it's funny that these armored knights take less hits to kill than a crab that isn't even close to the size of the knights. I'm going to resist the urge to rate this level though, if only because while it may be an amazing example of how far you can stretch the limits of this game, as far as legitimate level design goes, it's a beat 'em up style level in a platformer. That's pretty terrible level design unfortunately. Correct me if I'm wrong on this, but I would expect some platforming in platformer. Now granted, that does show a bit of how diverse this game is, but the level doesn't force you to stand around beating people up like traditional beat 'em ups do. Ergo, it's not a beat 'em up level even if it think it is. Add that one feature in and I might be inclined to actually give this level a rating.

Agreed. That's been mainly created to show off, what the LL designer is capable of graphic wise. It didn't seem to fit with the tips and tricks thread or somewhere else at all. I still wanted to show that 3D stuff is easily possible in LL. So I've simply posted it in the portal and got lots of attention for terrible level design. (Same goes for the other concept design. I dislike that too.)

I won't add any platforming in that one. But I've been working on combining this with good gameplay. Unfortunately it's harder to create good working 3d moving platforms/blocks than it seems. For now I'm pretty much unable to design anyway and try to get my LLLDC entry started finished.

Also my only levels worth playing are Darkness Matters and two in the making.
