Winner's Reaction: "Well, I'm speechless. I mean, I expected something among the lines of 4th or 3rd place. I mean it. But my, 1st place, and with 18.5 just feels like... I accomplished something else. Like I've finally reached my goal by entering LDCs. And really, Dear Diary felt like the one level that really turned out just like I wanted. It felt... Unique. For me at least. It was the first time in a long while I changed my designing mindset to... Something less focused on visual construction. Well, I don't think I can say more at this point, other than that I am surprised myself with my placing, and score. I'm happy. Really happy."
Fun Fact: This level, unsurprising for a level at the top, has the highest lowest score ever (18/20, higher than all but five other entrants)

Fun Fact: Space Colony was the only winning entrant that had a score increase after the actual scores were re-added without rounding, as other LDCs have only rounded to the hundredths at best- yet at the same time older LDCs had inaccessible judgings.

Fun Fact: Dark was the first winning entrant- and due to the rules, likely only- to be five parts long, although Keel's Hatred has it beaten for largest series in terms of tiles. It also sparked a discussion over whether or not story based levels should be discouraged, which set up the premise for the 21st LDC

Fun Fact: Designed to be a tribute to Yoshi's Island (the game many tilesets are ripped from), this had a high enough score to be followed up by the highest 2nd placer and highest 3rd placer of all time.

Fun Fact: AoF was the first miniseries to win an LDC, as well as the first collaboration. MoD has been part of every winning collaboration in LDC history, and two have been with Venexis.

The other 25% was bad timing and such but I could have made it if I needed to. But yeah, I have to say I was shocked when I saw the score, I did not expect it to be so high. It's actually my highest scoring LDC entry. Like, what...?
I've also definitely learned that doing an idea you love makes all the difference, and I had a passion for this concept. So yeah, it's nice to feel like I've made an official comeback now. :D"

Fun Fact: Not only was this the longest gap between placements (with Ayrayen's last placement being in the 4th LDC in the fall of 2009), Keel's Hatred is the first level proper that Ayrayen has made in nearly 4 years. He beats the record of Kaboom of longest gap between entries as well. Inspired by his publicized suicidal thoughts, Ayrayen turned his state of mind into an emotionally story driven level that wowed the judges for the first time in a long time, being the first level to score higher than a 17 in an LDC in nearly a year.

Fun Fact: This is the first series to be made as a collaboration by the top two level designers on the tier list at the time, and is the first collaboration since the 16th LDC to win; all three winning collaborations from history involving MoD.

21st LDC Overall Results winning moment = ".... I WON?!"
Fun Fact: Buffooner and MessengerOfDreams, both hosting the two different themes of the 21st LDC, decided to duel each other with their themes to see who'd get the most entrants or which theme would win the overall results. As it turns out, MessengerOfDreams with the theme Storytelling, got the least number of people in his theme with many unfinished and incredibly buggy entries and overall the winner of his LDC turned out to be the winner receiving two golds. This made MP3 Amplifier the first person in history to win two golds in an LDC and the second person ever to receive three golds or more.

Winner Reaction: "For once, I am unsatisfied with my win. :< Lemme explain why... Firstly, that really isn't my best story or my best levels and I was hoping the size would make people think they need to create something very epic and then we could end up with newer designers winning. Seriously, that was my aim.. o.o Secondly, while I'm not the first to win their own LDC (MoD did win the 16th LDC with Destinations and he half hosted it with me), I still feel a bit saddened that I had to announce these results knowing that I would win it anyway. But at least I can celebrate some things- 1. Yay I have 4 golds which is tied with MoD for the most amount of golds a person has ever had! :D, and 2. I won the LDC with my lucky number. :3 So things didn't turn out to be so bad in the end; still, I hope everyone is satisfied with their medals and I swear it'll be a while before I attempt another story-driven series. Fun Fact: After winning this LDC, Amp ends up sharing two records with MoD- the first one for being the second person to win their own LDC, and the second person to receive 4 golds, which is the highest amount of gold trophies any level designer has so far. The series itself produced much innovation that seemed to be well received by the public.

Inspired by his publicized suicidal thoughts, Ayrayen turned his state of mind into an emotionally story driven level that wowed the judges for the first time in a long time, being the first level to score higher than a 17 in an LDC in nearly a year.

Fun Fact: Buffooner and MessengerOfDreams, both hosting the two different themes of the 21st LDC, decided to duel each other with their themes to see who'd get the most entrants or which theme would win the overall results. As it turns out, MessengerOfDreams with the theme Storytelling, got the least number of people in his theme with many unfinished and incredibly buggy entries and overall the winner of his LDC turned out to be the winner receiving two golds. This made MP3 Amplifier the first person in history to win two golds in an LDC and the second person ever to receive three golds or more.

Fun Fact: After winning this LDC, Amp ends up sharing two records with MoD- the first one for being the second person to win their own LDC, and the second person to receive 4 golds, which is the highest amount of gold trophies any level designer has so far.
