I've mastered every aspect the triggers. The best way to learn is to study the two beta levels Runouw made and other levels with effects not included in the beta levels. find something in the levels that you want to learn how to do, and open up the control boxes for the corresponding triggers. Study what the creator of the level did to produce the effect, for a while. Then instead of redoing exactly what they did, create your own version from what you've learned.

I personally find the triggers about Over 900 times more difficult that making grid blocks on SM63, yet I have no Idea why.

@JRFD That's actually what I did. It's part of why I have any knowledge on triggers. However, from experimenting with them on my own accord, I've found that there are relative frames, and absolute frames in the editor. Relative frames are affected by the slowing down of time if you use a time trigger. Absolute frames aren't. It's part of why the mage jumps so low during slow time. The exact same amount of absolute frames pass, so the game cuts off the upward momentum. Whereas, his sword swing is an animation, so it's affected by the slowed down relative frames.

That explains my take on how that bug works.

Why don't I like it? Well see, SM63 has gotten really old. I really want something new. But it has to be the same as SM63. It can't be all different and complicated. Why can't you make something new that is the same as SM63 but still new?!

Because if you do that, people will just say, "This is the exact same as SM63." And honestly, I could argue that Last Legacy is exactly that. If you don't know anything about triggers, nor do you want to, fine. You honestly don't have to mess with any of it. It runs the exact same way as SM63, but for those who want to get more in-depth, they can.

Last level posted in LL Level portal was August 28th. We may need a update to fix this.
