Level contests made by other people

I'm not sure if it's breaking the rules or not, but people are making their own contests with stupid prizes.
The prizes are like adding you to a user town, city, etc. 
I think we should just go with the original LDCs where you get nominated a medal.
What's your opinion about these other contests?

They are forbidden, but there are so many popping up we can't control it. But if we see one, they are nuked.

It also makes me wonder why they're doing it in the first place.

The people just want to act like they're boss. Getting stupid stuff from a stupid people for stupid reasons. Just like the idiots at my school.

Half of the people on the LD don't go on the forums and read the rules. If everyone went on the forums we wouldn't have this problem.

You've got a point.
I'm trying to become a level moderator so that I can get rid of some of those useless contests.

If the contest issue is popping up on the new portal, maybe adding a blacklist that would block certain keywords would help?
Although, we'd have to watch out for mispellings.

Yeah. Because people might try to fool us by spelling out
kontest instead.
