Level Portal Activity: Is it dying?

I just wanted to ask this [for anyone who may be wondering why it is so quiet]: Is the Portal beginning to go dead? I haven't seen so little new Level/posts in forever. What do you think is going on?
The 23rd LDC Vault has been locked; is SM63 starting to become less of interest to the majority of the community?

I mentioned that because the Level Portal is less active when an LDC is running. There isn't an LDC to attend right now, so anyone with spare time could spend some time at the Portal, but we haven't seen anything going on there, if at all.

Well I know that some people (myself included) have been spending more time using LL.

I have noticed that too.

Maybe LL is starting to kill SM63. It DOES hold many more possibilities and features.

Well,I haven't submitted my levels to the portal yet. And I really hope that people could divide their free time between SM63 and LL.

I've become rather concerned about this already, but you beat me to posting a topic.

The SM63 LD portal is dying and I feel we should not just watch it die. This problem can be solved if Runouw, the developer of the game, add more items, more features just like LL. You know, all the new things and features we want in SM63 has gone to LL? Yeah. People want these,so if LL has them, they'll move to LL and just let SM63 die of hunger and pain.

They feel LL is now more fun, more interesting than SM63. If Runouw launches a major update to SM63,the people would then divide their time between the two as both are equally fun.

SM63 and LL are Runouw's great works. I think he do not want people to just concentrate on one and let the other die. If this continues,SM63 would be totally abandoned. I do not want this to happen.

Major updates to SM63 may not save it from dying. If it dies,it's possible to salvage it,but you can't save it forever. Even if the game gets every single update and has everything,it will still die. It's just a matter of time. The same also goes for Last Legacy,no matter how awesome and win it is. Major updates cannot solve the dying problem forever,it's just a temporary solution.

Yes I know, all games will die eventually. All of them. It's just a matter of time,as you said.
Almost everything will die eventually. This is reality.

...

...But a temporary solution for the next few months is better than no solution, right?

If a temporary solution is going to take enough effort to restrict the process of completing a new project that you're determined to finish, then it's more often than not that a temporary solution for a few months is worth it.
