I collect some Silver Stars when I am testing my level, but when I fail, then sometimes some Silver Stars are just gone and I can't collect all of them.

How can I fix this?

I have the same problem as you, this may be a bug in the game. Also, some coins will disappear.
When I have this problem, I''ll always wait for a short while and try for a few times. The coins and silver stars will appear again.

Reload the course and the collectibles will renew itself.
