3. Don't Spam or Flame

Doing either just makes you look like an idiot, and will get you in trouble.

The First time you break this rule, you get a warning, if you do it twice, you get a one week ban. If this is followed up by a third time, you'll score yourself a two week ban. If you fail to stop spamming, and insist on continuing, you'll find yourself unable to log in permanently.
4. Don't be Dumb

Try to use proper grammar, type in full sentences (including punctuation and Capitals.), and make sure the words are as close to the correct spelling as possible.
5. Use Common Sense

Anything that would break the rules on forums in general should not be posted.
That means:
-> Edit Posts instead of double-posting (warning after three double-posts. third warning comes with one week ban, fourth with two weeks, and fifth with perma-ban - exceptions: Your own level topic and if you have to contribute something REALLY important - but in these cases you also have to wait for 36 hours / 1 and a half days until you are allowed to post).
-> No advertising of sites or products (exceptions include in your signature, your website profile field). One warning for the first occurance, and for your second, a two week ban. (Exception: Big sites like vgmusic.com or google.com)

It doesn't matter if you did it for fun. This is not acceptable.
There's a reason why you got banned. That's why there's a ban log now.
You get permanately banned from now on for re-registering.
Example: Raymond.
First he advertised and backseat moderated, then flamed and got banned. He created two more accounts to trick us, and ended up with a permanent IP ban.
If someone wants to register on the same network as you, for example a sibling, contact staff first.
-> do not post flashing images. Some people here have epilepsy (like Linkdroid, who suggested the rule) and it isn't good if they get a seizure.

6. Reporting

If you see an offensive post, please don't make post something like; "DON'T FLAME". Just click the report button, which is the small triangle with the exclamation mark (!), located near where the edit button is found. That way, we'll be able to find the post much faster. If you're not sure if something is reportable, first check if a Moderator/Admin is available on the chat. If not, simply report it. You won't get banned for false reports - unless you send an excessive amount of them unnecessarily.
7. In the Chat

The same rules apply in the chat. If you see a bannable offense, please send the mods at which time it occured.
Also, please don't post your levels in the chat - post them in the Levels Forum. Posting levels - even when in code tags - will result in an instant warning.
Also, don't post overly large images. 100x100 pictures can be tolerated, but please no bigger ones. Also post no flash files with sound or are also overly large.
Last but not least, please post no messages like "plz play mah 1337 lvls!!1" or "[url=omglol]PLAY MY LEVELS![/url]". People play your levels when they feel like it. If you do it three times, you'll find yourself with a warning.
8. Signatures

Due to users uploading excessively large pictures for their sigs, we've decided upon a rule on the Signature size. From now on, the maximum height for your sig is 300px. We've also found it necessary to enforce this rule with severe penalties if ignored or broken.
9. About Spammers
----------------
Maybe you noticed it - there are some spammers and spambots here. If you see one of these threads...
DO:
- Contact a staff member if he's online instantly by a instant messenger like AIM, MSN... best to add them now! Give a link.
- If a staff member is on the forum, but not in the instant messenger, shout out in the chat. Give a link.
- Click Mr. Report Button (
) so the mods find it faster.DO NOT:

10. Account

You are resposible for your account. If you get hacked, that's because you had a bad or even none virus scanner/firewall or you took a too simple password - which is your fault. Anything that happens or your account or even on your computer releating to runouw.com is your responsiblity.
Admins and Mods have the right to determine if you have broken any of the rules. It is advised that you DO NOT argue with their decisions.
