Hello, guys. It's me. This is a story, made by Usuario THf. Since I started to see that some people posted stories, I got inspired and created one. This story is based of Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum. But it is mostly based on Platinum, which means that the changes made in Platinum stay in the story. Example: After I beat Gardenia, I will head to beat Fantina.

DESCRIPTION
The day finally has come. Usuario and his friend, Pearl/Barry(Which will be named Pearl because I like it), finally decide that they should get some Pokémon. Pearl mentions that Professor Rowan is giving them as starters. Usuario and Pearl, then, will go to get their starter Pokémon, and challenge the Sinnoh league. But the problem is, they don't know the challenges that await them...
CHAPTER 1: The challenge starts...
Part 1: I will choose...
The story starts with our hero, Usuario, watching TV. He's watching an article made by Professor Rowan.
"Pokémon are by our side, always. I hope you will understand the meaning of these words." That was the comment left by Prof. Rowan, who has returned to Sinnoh from the Kanto region.
Usuario turns off the TV, as he says:"Today is the day! The day in which I get my first Pokémon!"Usuario walks down the stairs, and his mom says:
"Hmm? Where are you going? Why are you so happy?"
Usuario happily replies:"I'm going to get my first Pokémon from Prof. Rowan!" Usuario's mom then, replies:
"Well, that's awesome! But be careful! If you don't have any Pokémon and you walk on the tall grass, you may be attacked!"
"Okay, mom. Bye!"Says Usuario in a hurry, while getting out of house.
Usuario walks with his bag and stuff (Which means he was ready for this day), but then, when he's at Pearl's door...
*PAF!*Usuario is back to the ground, and Pearl quickly gets out of his house.
"Geez, Pearl. Always in a hurry, right?"Comments Usuario while getting up from the ground. Pearl doesn't talk, and quickly gets in his house, while in a hurry.
"...Pearl?"Says Usuario, while entering his house.
And then, Pearl's mom notices me entering. She wondres why I entered the house, and then she says:"If you're searching for Pearl, he's on his room."
"Kay, thanks!"Says Usuario while going to Pearl's room."Pearl, what are you doing?"
Pearl, a bit tired, answers:""I forgot something...So I...Came here...To get...The thing I forgot. Wait for me..At the entrance..."Usuario does so.
After some waiting, Pearl got out of his house. He then said, really happy and energetic:"Let's go! We don't have time to waste!", and Usuario replies:"Okaaaay..."
Usuario and Pearl leave Twinleaf Town, and get into Route 201. They get at the T-Junction, and then look. To the left, Lake Verity. To their back, Twinleaf Town, and finally, at their right, the part which leads to Sandgem Town, the location of Professor Rowan's lab.
Pearl yells:"Over there!"And tries to dash to the tall grass, until Usuario stops him. Pearl, madly tells Usuario:"HEY! Why are you stopping me?" Usuario then, points at the tall grass.
Pearl then, says without worry:"Oh, c'mon! Don't tell me that your mom told you to not go into the tall grass without a Pokémon!", and Usuario, with a"Did a bug bite him?"expression, say:"Uh...That's true. My mom told me that."
Pearl keeps himself in silence, and then I let him free, but not without warning him:"If you get attacked by a wild Pokémon, it's not my problem.", and JUST before Pearl gets into tall grass, someone says:"Hey, stop!". Pearl recognizes that voice, looks at the person and yells:"IT'S PROFESSOR ROWAN!", and Usuario thinks"Well, at least, Pearl didn't get hurt."
Professor Rowan says:"Hey, you, kid. Why were you trying to go in the tall grass without a Pokémon?", "Huh?Who?Me?", says Pearl. "Yes, you.", replies Rowan.
Pearl, worried a bit, says:"Eh...I was trying to reach Sandgem Town so I could get my starter Pokémon.". Usuario then, with a not-surprised face, says"I also want a starter Pokémon, but I didn't want to get in danger.". Prof. Rowan then, yells:"Dawn, come here!"And a girl called Dawn, comes with some equipment; 12 empty Pokéballs and a bag with 3 Pokéballs, each one containing one of Sinnoh's starter Pokémon.
Prof. Rowan says, while looking at the Pokéballs with the Starter Pokémon:"These 3 Pokéballs contain Sinnoh's starter Pokémon: Turtwig, Chimchar and Piplup. I want you to choose any of them."When he finishes his speech, he sends out the threee Pokémon mentioned. Dawn then, with a confused expression says:"Are you sure, professor? These Pokémon are hard to find."
Prof. Rowan, replies to Dawn:"I know. But we have to let these 2 boys to meet the wonder of Pokémon. Now, choose!"Pearl then thinks:"I'll make Usuario pick a starter that has a disadvantage against mine", and then says loud and clear:"Usuario should choose first!"
Usuario walks forward, and then he looks at all of the three Pokéballs. Now, he has to face a really hard desition: Chimchar, Turtwig, or Piplup? He knows that Water-types and Ground-types are a big threat for Chimchar, but he chooses Chimchar anyways. He grabs Chimchar's pokéball, and happily says:"I choose this Chimchar!"
Pearl, dashes off to Piplup's Pokéball, and Usuario thinks:"...Why was I expecting that?". Prof. Rowan then, gives Usuario and Pearl 6 Pokéballs each."These are Pokéballs. Use them to catch wild Pokémon. Can you please come to my lab? Thank you. If you do, I'll give you a Pokédex. I'll leave now, as I have stuff to do.", explains while he leaves. Pearl then, says with a serious voice:"Usuario! I challenge you to a Pokémon battle!"
Usuario, also gets serious and accepts Pearl's challenge, and both new trainers send out their Pokémon. Usuario sends out Chimchar and Pearl sends out Piplup.
Part 2: The battle before leaving Route 201!
The battle soonly starts. Piplup and Chimchar are looking at each other fiercly. Both trainers command Piplup and Chimchar to use Pound and Scratch, respectively. Piplup screws up, and Chimchar has the chance to attack him. But then, surprisingly, one of Piplup's arms glow white and then, it delivers a shattering punch on Chimchar! Chimchar uses Leer, and Piplup's defense falls. Chimchar gets close to Piplup to use Scratch. But when Piplup is about to try to counterattack, Usuario tells to Chimchar"Avoid!". Chimchar does so, and sucesfully hits Piplup on the back.
Piplup was badlt injured-And he was just hurt once! Chimchar is about to scratch Piplup on the face, but then, Piplup growls, sending Chimchar flying a bit back!
Both trainers have to deal with those weak moves, but at least they can knock out the opponent! Chimchar tries to Scratch Piplup on the face, but Piplup counters with Pound, and Piplup's hand got a bit hurt. Well, at least his face wasn't scratched!
Pearl and Usuario are having a rough time. Both trainers tell their Pokémon to attack, but the defender most times avoids. Until something unexpected happens!
Chimchar tries to Scratch Piplup, but Piplup avoids. While Piplup is in the air, Chimchar Scratches Piplup, and Piplup got hurt! Piplup falls to the ground, extremely weak.
Pearl:"Piplup!"
Usuario:"It seems I already won."
But just before Chimchar attacks Piplup with Scratch, Piplup, with his few strenght, delivers a powerful Pound, which leaves Chimchar weak. The good thing for Usuario is, Piplup used all of it's remaining energy in that Pound, and he was Knocked Out!
"Noooooo!"Pearl yelled whne he lost. Suddently, Chimchar is surrounded by a blue Aura, which means he leveled up!
"Good Match."Said Usuario to Pearl, with a happy face.
"...Yeah. Good Match."Said Pearl.
Usuario then, remembered something...Oh my! He needs his journal! Usuario quickly dashes to his house at Twinleaf Town, and tells his mom:
"Hey mom, can you give me a Journal? I decided I will try to be the best Pokémon Trainer in the whole Sinnoh region."Usuario's mom replies, while giving him a journal and a Badge Case:"Here you are. This Badge Case is for your badges in your Gym Battles."
"Thanks mom! I'll visit you sometimes so I can show you my new Pokémon!Bye!"Said Usuario."Thanks, son! And bye! Be careful!"Said Usuario's mom.
"Okay, mom!"Said Usuario while in a hurry. He arrives at the T-Junction, just to find out Pearl is gone. But then, Pearl's mom comes to me and asks:"Have you seen Pearl around here?"Usuario simply answers "No. Why do you ask?"
"It's because he forgot this Parcel. Can you deliver it for me?"Says Pearl's mom, a bit worried. I reply:"No problem!"And quickly put it into my bag while walking into the tall grass. But then...
???: Staaar!
Usuario looks at the animal who made that voice. It was not an animal, it was A WILD STARLY!!!!!!!111"QUICK, CHIMCHAR GO AND SCRATCH THAT STARLY UNTIL IT FAINTS!"
Chimchar then, Scratches Starly until it faints.
Chimchar levels up again, and it learns Ember! After that, Usuario and Chimchar dash at Sandgem Town. But just before, while they're in the tall grass...A KRICKETOT ATTACKS THEM!
"AHH CHIMCHAR USE EMBER TO BURN IT UNTIL IT FAINTS!"Chimchar does so, and Kricketot faints.
Usuario and Chimchar finally reach Sandgem Town. Then, they see Pearl dashing off Rowan's Lab.
"Pearl! I need to give you something!"Yells Usuario.
"Sorry! I can't talk now!"Yells Pearl in a rush while rushing to Route 202, on way to Jubilife City.
"Hey, Usuario! Come in!"Says Dawn in the door of Rowan's Lab. Usuario does so...
Part 3: The adventure NOW has begun!
Author notes: This chapter is going to be short.
Inside Prof. Rowan's Lab, Usuario finds Dawn and Prof. Rowan. "Come here, Usuario.", and Usuario does so. "I should ask why am I here"says Usuario.
Rowan answer:"See, I want to give you this Pokédex. It is a device that lets you scan Pokémon, like that Chimchar you have. You can know his weight, his height, his footprint, and his Pokédex entry. It also lets you know where to find the Pokémon, but Chimchar is not found on the wild, so his location is left as 'Unknown', and the Pokédex can also say it's cry. It can also scan Pokémon that you haven't captured, but the Pokédex will only show you how that Pokémon looks, it's cry and the location on the wild (If it is found on the wild)."
"Heh, pretty cool."Replies Usuario, while grabbing his Pokédex. Prof. Rowan says"Usuario, I need you to do me a favor. And that favor is: See all of Sinnoh's Pokémon. As far as I know, there are 210 Pokémon on the Sinnoh Dex. If you want, you can go and try to beat the champion, but to do so, you have to get all 8 Gym Badges."
"I'm fine with that. See you later!"Says Usuario while leaving. "Wait!" Yelled Rowan. Usuario stood there, and Prof. Rowan gave him TM27, Return.
"...What's this?"Asks Usuario. Rowan answers:"This is a Technical Machine, also known as TM. It teaches a move to a Pokémon. This TM teaches Return. All TMs are one use only, so you have to decide on which Pokémon you will use the TM."After that, Rowan gets into his lab.
Dawn then, says:"Usuario, I'll show you around."Dawn walks to the Pokémon Center and says:"This building with the red/orange ceiling is the Pokémon Center. You can mainly heal your Pokémon here."Then, she walks to the Poké Mart."The building with the blue ceiling is the Poké Mart. You can buy stuff here. Since you have no badges, you can't buy so much stuff. But as you get more badges, you can buy more stuff!"Dawn then, walks into route 202."Come here. I will teach you how to catch some Pokémon."
Usuario walks into Route 202 to learn how to catch some Pokémon...
