RESIDENT EVIL
The Rebirth of Unbrella
Chapter 1
I woke up from my usual nightmare. Only this one was slightly differant. Usually, Slayers were attacking my friends, with me helplessly watching. This time, something else was attacking them. It looked human...only it wasn't anymore.
The town of Everfrost was a quiet, little town. Nothing ever happened, nothing ever came, nothing ever went. Until the summer of 2017, that is.
I was working at a friend's house when my MCD(MyWorld Calling Device) that was built into my watch binged.
I pushed a button. "Talk to me," I said. I looked at the tiny screen. It was Boss. "Boss, this better not be another joke."
"It isn't," he replied, "You know the old mansion? The one that always has the dark threatning sky over it?"
"Yeah, I can see it from here. Why?"
"Well, I was on my usual patrols when I heard howling. What was I to expect but a dog. But this dog...it should have been dead."
"What do you mean?"
"The dog looked like it was run over by a car several times. But it was standing perfectly. Then it leapt at me, bit my leg, and actually tore an entire chunk of flesh off. I swatted it away before it could get me again, and i shot it."
"Hang on," I said, "I'm coming over."
I ran to my friend's room and knocked on the door.
She opened it, buttoning up her shirt. Umm...yeah. Her and her husband do that alot. "Finished already?" she asked.
"No. Boss paged me, he got attacked."
"Go, just do double when you get back."
"Thanks, Vivian," I said, and ran off.
I ran to my house, opened the door, and rushed to the armory in the basement. Fox was polishing a breast plate, then put it on.
"Boss paged me," she said, twirling a knife.
"You aren't going," I said, grabbing a tactical 12-gauge shotgun, "It's too dngerous. I can't lose you again."
That's all i can write now. More later. Promise.
