Super Mario 126: The Novel (Prologue Completed!)

This is a story I made, but it's the level series (That nobody even comments anymore.) Super Mario 126. As a story. So, yeah. Anyways, here it is!

PROLOGUE: Oh-a Great. Another Adventure?!?!

It was a warm, crisp day with a tangerine glow in the sky, being on everything in its path in the Mushroom Kingdom. It was morning & everyone were peacefully sleeping in their homes. And at there, there were 2 of the most well-known heroes, the Super Mario Bros.! In Mario's house, he's sleeping in his bedroom, comfy. His room was dark, with the orange color tainting the exposed areas. A few minutes later, the alarm clock rang! *BEEP-BEEP-BEEP-BEEP-BEEP-BEEP-BEEP-BEEP* Mario immediately woke up & said, "Welp, time for a great-a day!"

He got up, and with a short yawn, he went into the bathroom. He took a bath, got his regular clothing on, ate his average mushroom pancakes with koopa bacon, you know, the usual. A little while later, around a hour-and-a-half, Mario got out of his house. Currently, the sky formed from a warm orange, to a vivid spectrum of blue-to blood-red no cloud in the sky. There was even a few trees around there & a nearby log that led to the rest of the Kingdom.

"Hmm, a good-looking sky means an nice day", he said. A few of the Toads, citizens of the Mushroom Kingdom, woke up too & greeted Mario. One of the toads, Matthew, one of Mario's closest pals, walked with Mario for a bit & asked, "Hey Mario, why isn't your brother here?" Matthew Toad had a burnt orange head with rust-colored spots, some tan jeans & a silver watch on his right arm.

"I think he either, forgot to set up his alarm clock, could go on those unexpected vacations with Daisy, or could be getting a ghost out of his toilet again, heh heh" laughed Mario. They were talking for some time & they said bye to each other & separated. Mario soon went to go back to his house & bumped against his little brother, Luigi coming out of the nearby pipe from the back of Mario's house.

"Ow!" "Owieeeeee!" Mario rubbed his nose & Luigi brushed off his clothing from the dirt that spread onto his neat blue denim overalls.

"Oy, hey Luigi." "Hey bro. How'z ya doin'?" "Fine, fine. Oh yeah! Almost forgot, was the ghost in your toilet again?" "No, the ghost.....well it's a long story." The little brother whispered the whole story to Mario, with him making some very surprised gestures with his face. Mario said, "You gotta be kidding me." "Oh no I'm not kidding". "You're living in a tough life aren't ya?" "Whew, you-a bet". The two later walked into the house, watching a bit of some TV shows & played some video games with each other. The living room that they were in was nice, with wooden walls, a fire place made of bricks & a very soft & cadet-blue-colored sofa. Luigi won most of the time though while playing the video games. Mario was almost gonna punch Luigi for not winning most of the time. In fact, shortly after, Mario was about to tackle his brother. Luigi, with the superior speed, eventually dashed in the cabinet of the kitchen & stayed quiet like a bug.

For sometime later, he opened up the cabinet door very slightly, with a ear-piercing creak, "M-Ma-Ma-Mar-Mario?" Are you-ou-u......okeey?" "Yes Weegee." Luigi screamed as loud as a banshee with Mario tightly placing his lands on his ears. "How the heck did you get in here?!?!!" he screamed, punching his brother on the his left arm twice. "Ow, heh, ow, well....Luigi, I used Professor E-Gadd's Cyber Amazing Neo Too Stealthy Extrodinary Experiment!" he replied with a slight smirk. The plumbers then got out of the cabinet.

"Bro, I swear you make the most mean pranks ever." he expressed.

"But it was funny! Hahahaha! You should've seen the look on your face!" He mimicked Luigi's scared impression with bulging eyes & a very wide & opened mouth & then laughed a bit again.

It was around 8: 13 A. M. and know the sky was a vivid cerulean with the Sun in sky. Luigi groaned to Mario that he was sleepy so went to a restaurant, named 'Mr. Rexstin's' ' (It was to the left of Mario's house & near Peach's castle) to recharge his body. Mario was then about to sit on his couch to watch some more TV on his Flat-Screen LED but then he heard Luigi coming. The second he walked out, Luigi had stopped just in time & then screamed with a very bright red face & big bulging blue eyes, "MARIO! BOWSER'S BADDIES INVADED MR. REXSTIN'S & THE TOADS' HOUSES AROUND IT & BOWSER TOOK PEACH AGAIN! AAAAAAAAAAHUUHUUHUU!" Mario's picked his ears to check if he can still hear. "Oy! Can you speak any louder?" he sarcasticly said.

(NOTE: Cyber Amazing Neo Too Stealthy Extordinary Experiment's initials are C.A.N.T.S.E.E.)

CHAPTER 1: Mushroom Kingdom Invasion!!!

Matthew was about to be pummeled with a few Goombas, but luckily Mario quickly dispatched them out of the victim's way. Bam! Pow!

"Eeyah!" As Mario said as he was spinning around very rapidly, making the last of the Goombas around their area fly away until you just see little brown spots in the sky.

"Whew, thanks for saving me, buddy! I thought I had to goto the hospital or even die!" Matthew said.

"No-a problem! Mario's always here!......Most of the friggin' time." Mario groaned as he saw Luigi doing a kung fu pose to a few Koopas, but quickly jumps out of way, chicken-ing out as usual.

"Luigi!", he shouted.

"You gotta do it like this" and with that, he jumped onto a Koopa, which hides in its shell & Mario kicks it against the others.

"Yah!" Plop-plop-plop!

"Hmm.....something's missing....ah well" Mario said.

"What's missing?" Luigi replied.

"There's supposed to be a sound & then a green-thingy pops out of nowhere."

"See, bro? Video games are screwing up you're head! You should stop playing them."

Mario murmured, "And someone whose better at video games is telling me that...."

"MARIO! LET'S CUT THE CHAT AND CONTINUE SAVING THE PRINCESS!"

And with that, Mario & Luigi ventured on. They spinned around, whacking Goombas with their strong fists.

"Wah!"

"Yah!"

Then, they found some flying Koopa Patroopas, the green-flying type, that staggered each other to a pipe.

One of them said, "So Felix, do you know what time it is?" Felix was above the Koopa that asked him & looked at his watch. It was a chrome-green, with a drawing of a Koopa on it.

"Well Luko, it's around 9: 13 A. M. I'm soooooooooooooooooo bored! Why can't we attack the Mario Bros.? We could give 'em a 1-2 to the forehead & end it with a hard blow to the chin!"

"Felix, we can't! I know you're strong, but those Mario Bros...just....wow! Did you see what they did to the Goombas? They spinned around super fast like those spinning toys, and then--"

"Alright! Alright! I think I get the dang point already, Ko."

Another one, name's Bryan, asked, scared, "Uh, g-guys?"

"Yes?"

"What?"

"The two plumbers are coming t-this way..."

Luko said, "Well, at least we lived a good live until now. I mean, look at us. Most of us are either rich (I wish) & middle-class, have good jobs, we have a wives--"

Felix replied, "I don't have a wife."

"Stop being mad. (loser) Like I was saying, oh great. There they are. I bet they might fall down before reaching this pipe."

"Heh, I hope." Bryan said, happily.

Luigi said, "Mario, are you sure this won't conclude to a very painful room?"

His brother quickly repsonds, "If we don't goto the ER, then we are safe!"

The two both stopped running.

"What's he doing now?" Luko asks.

"It doesn't look like your plan's gonna be successful, Ko." Bryan repsonds. Felix's starting to have an attitude.

"Okay, y'know what? If they do be successful, I'll kick they're--"

"OKAY!" Bryan yells. Meanwhile, with the twins.

"Are you ready, Luigi?" The red plumber asks.

"Yeah!"

Both of them happily exclaims,

"LET'S-A GOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" And as they say that, Mario jumps onto the green one's back & runs towards the Koopas. Mario jumps off Luigi's back, about to land onto Felix. At the same time, the Patroopa said in his head,

"C'mon. I wanna see you try" With a slight smirk on his face.

"EE-yah!" And with a strong kick, Mario smashed Felix's head into the ground. Mario hit him so hard, he bounced onto the the nearby cliff. Around the same time when Mario defeated Felix, Luigi just jumped onto the Koopas, right when he was on the cliff. He was about to fall. With his arms flailing his thin arms around like an idiot, he was standing on one leg, titling to the ground that's around 2-3 feet below.

"Waah! Help me! I'm gonna die! I'm gonna die! Diii--" And Mario brought him up quickly, turned him to the opposite side.

"Oh."

"That'll do, Luigi. That'll do", as he said, with a slight smirk & a small chuckle. Meanwhile, with the face-first smashed Koopa, saying in his head,

Interesting... I like the cohesion of the plot and the amount of character you put into the Mario Bros. That was always lacking in the games...

Thanks for the great respond! And yeah, you're right about the Mario Bros. having actual personalities. Mario's that brother who gets a bit mad at certain times & is mean at times, Luigi's that brother who's scared & have a bit more flaws than his older twin.
