Mario and Sonic`s big switch

Sonic and mario were walking down a field one day, Until they met each other. "Hey mario, whats up?" Said Sonic,
"Ohhh, nothing except getting a-my butt kicked by you again" replied Mario.
Sonic laughed "Dont take it personaly Mario" said Sonic,
Sonic and Mario had been rivals for a long time. They both fought each other every time they met, Mostly Sonic won...But other times Mario almost stomped him right into the ground. "So do you wanna fight again?" said Sonic. "Uhmm-a yeah" replied Mario,
Sonic and mario stepped back. Then with little hesitation, they rammed into each other while a bolt of lightning struck the sky. They were stunned, Soinc tried to focus, In front of Sonic was his body. "Whats going on here?" said Sonic,
He gasped. His own voice sounded like Mario`s, Suddenly Mario and Sonic realized the strange truth...They had switched bodies. "Mama mia!" said Mario in Sonic's body.
Sonic tried running and he was superfast even though he wasn`t in his own body. Mario tried throwing a fireball, And it still worked. "If our souls switched bodies then why do we sound diffrent, and why do we still have our powers?" said Sonic, Confused.
