"Kamek,I'm not leaving. Not until I end this stupid rebellion of hers!"
"Master Bowser,Kamella will capture you and send you into endless torture!"
"Don't question my abilities! If you wish to flee,I won't stop you. When you finally return,I shall greet you with a new Koopa Kingdom."
"...fine,so be it. I wish you good luck,Master Bowser."
Kamek turns to the window,and chants a Teleport spell.
"He's gone...the shield's disintegrating,too."
Suddenly,a magikoopa donning a purple robe appears before the great Koopa King himself.
"Look what we have here? A big crybaby all alone without his chaperone."
"Kamella,I've been waiting to beat you into Turtle Soup!"
Bowser clutches his fist and throws a powerful punch at Kamella,but he's stopped by a hexagon barrier.
"You're no match for me."
Fifty magikoopas warps to the throne room,scattering all over the place,but all facing Bowser.
"Send the message,my fellow disciples! Tell the people of the Koopa Kingdom,from this day and on,I,Kamella,is the empress of the Koopa Kingdom!"
"You're mad...the Koopa Kingdom cannot be ruled by a witch like you!"
Bowser angers,and breathes fire at Kamella. But he's stopped by the hexagon barrier again.
"I bear something you don't have,and that is intelligence! With a genius empress like me,Mushroom Kingdom will finally be conquered!"
"You're insane!
Bowser throws several punches at Kamella,but they are all blocked by a powerful barrier.
"SILENCE!"
Kamella and her disciples casts a barrage of fireballs at Bowser. Crying in agony,the once king of the Koopas faints in pain.
"Urgh...where am I? It's all dark here..."
Suddenly,a giant gate opens.
"What in the world?"
A fiery battlefield lies beyond the gate. Tens of thousands of Koopas,Goombas and many other citizens of the Koopa Kingdom cheers in the auditorium.
"DESTROY HIM!"
"KILL HIM FOR ALL THE SOLDIERS LOST IN THOSE MEANINGLESS BATTLES!"
"FINISH HIM FOR ALL OF THE SHY GUYS!"
"Something's wrong...are they wanting me dead?!"
"Good evening,fellow people of the Koopa Kingdom! I,Kamella,has prepared a show in this arena to congratulate our victory over that buffoon Bowser! Best of all,the show will be daily!
*Everyone cheers*
"Bowser and all of his loyal followers will be pitted into a gauntlet right here,in this grand arena! They shall be pitted into killing each other,and only one can prevail this grueling gauntlet!"
*Everyone cheers even louder*
*yells* "What if I decide to not play your stupid game?"
"Then I shall strike pain in you,forcing you to fight!"
Kamella rises her wand,and casts a strange purple lightning at Bowser.
"URAAAARGH!"
Bowser shouts in pain,but there's no sign of burn on his body.
"Tonight's battle will be...Bowser versus Boom Boom!"
On the other side of the arena,a giant Boom Boom walks out. A mysterious purple aura emits around him.
"WRAARGH!"
The Boom Boom's battle cry echoes loudly.
*huff* *huff* "For every battle I win...I get more time to retake the throne. There is no choice..."
The giant Boom Boom rushes straight at Bowser,with his arms flailing like a propeller.
"FORGIVE ME!"
Bowser breathes a powerful stream of flame at the Boom Boom's face. The Boom Boom can't stand the power and falls down on his back.
Bowser then rushes to the fallen Boom Boom and bounces up high. He drops down from the sky and lands onto Boom Boom's chest.
"URRAAARRRRGH!!!"
The Boom Boom cries out in pain,and slowly shrinks back to normal size.
"...it's an honor...to die...by you......"
The Boom Boom disintegrates into sparkling magic dust,and vanishes into the air. Bowser slowly lands.
"......"
Bowser silently stares into the ground,where the Boom Boom used to be. The audiences are cheering out loud,but it's all muted in Bowser's ears.
"Congratulations,Bowser. You've earned yourself one more day to live! I wonder who will be next? Gyahahaha!"
Kamella casts a warping spell,sending Bowser off the battlefield.
Bowser arrives at an enclosed dungeon room,lighten up by sinister flames.
"She's insane...she made me kill my generals!"
In anger,Bowser punches the wall.
*Bang*
The wall stands strong.
"She locked me in. I am good as a Dry Bone!"
*Bang*
"That wasn't me...who was that?
Bowser yells at the wall.
"You've finally noticed."
A faint voice comes out of the wall.
"Answer my question! Who are you?"
Annoyed,Bowser yells at the wall once again.
"My name is Johann,Johann von Koopa. And yours?"
"Wait...Johann? My greatest castle architect!"
"...you must be master Bowser,then."
"Do you know anything about this arena?"
"It's completely made of magic. The bricks,the flames,the battlefield...everything is made of magic here."
"Can't you do something about it? You used magic for all of my castles,too!"
"Only the maker gets to control its own creation."
"Speak English!"
"In other words,no. Only Kamella can alter anything here.
*sigh* "Hopeless,huh?"
"By the way,have you fought yet?"
"...yes."
"How was your foe?"
"He was...abnormal. It feels like he got external support beforehand."
"Enchanted?"
"What?"
"Kamek used to enchant our generals,too. Like that Naval Pirahna."
"But they didn't go completely mad. They were fighting with full consciousness."
"So this foe you were fighting wasn't aware of his battle?"
"Of course he wasn't! No Koopa alive would ever dare go head-to-head against the King of the Koopas!"
"It must be Kamella's doing. She forced you two to fight."
"...it makes sense. I got mentally zapped by her,too."
Suddenly,a plate of leftovers appear out of nowhere.
"Hey look,it's our dinner."
*sigh*"I can't believe this. She's treating us like gladiators."
"I'm waiting for an opportunity to strike back. She must have a weak point.""
"Maybe you will get to confront Kamella again after the gauntlet's over."
"But that means I'll have to kill you..."
"I have a favor to ask you."
"Sure."
"Take care of my son,Ludwig. I've sent him to a secluded castle in Pipe Land during Kamella's rebellion."
"Stop it. We're going out alive - All of us."
"Ha ha ha...I wish."
"Go catch some sleep,stay alive."
"I'll try."
The voice behind the wall silenced.
"No point in staying awake. I need some sleep,too."
Bowser lies down and falls asleep.
