I was working on a game called Castlevania Lost Symphony using many different things, first I tried RPG Maker 2, and upgraded to 3, and am currently working on it with RPG Maker VX, But I wanted to get a feel for it first because i wanted this game to be epic, so I decided to make 2 games before I even thought about finishing it. The first one I'm working on is halted because i'm waiting for feedback, and I haven't even thought about the second one. So I decided to adapt this into story form. This doesn't mean I won't ever finish either of them, quiet the contrary, but wanted to get some opinions on it too.Plus I can't upload the Game file here. So if you like this maybe I'll adapt the other one.
Now that the backstory to this is over, I shall commence story.
Adrian's Prologue
Adrian Farenheights Tepes had just stopped his father from enslaving the planet and had escaped his crumbling castle.
While he was in the woods making his way back home, he noticed something fallowing him and started to pick up the pace, but it was no use, whatever it was just started going faster.
He pulled his sword and turned around, but there was nothing there. He sheathed it and turned around to continue, only to find it was right in front of him.
A large electric orb had enveloped him and then it disappeared...
Chapter 1: Adrian's Story
Today was like every other day, I woke up had my breakfast and went to the woods to hunt for dinner after I had caught enough game for the day, I gave it to my mom so she could start cooking dinner, as she did that I went to the creek with my friends. "Hey Victor, do you think that we will ever get out of here and explore the world?" My friend, Rynold, asked "We'd probably sooner defeat the 'Thing'" I replied with anger in my eyes. "You're still mad about what he did to your father, aren't you?" My friend had replied. We were under rule of an evil tyrant, Vlad "The impaler", that some believe wasn't even human. But after seeing what he has done, I wouldn't be to surprised if they were right.
Adrian awoke to the sound of an elderly man's voice. He asked if he was okay, to which Adrian replied "I seem to be fine, but where am I?"
"You’re in Shur sonny." said the old man puzzled, Shur may not have been the most popular place, but it certainly wasn't off the map yet. "Where are you from?"
"My origins are something I don't like to talk about." Adrian replied as he started to look around. He was in the midst of the little village, some of the buildings had bricks chipped, or missing all together, but otherwise it was in decent shape. He then examined himself, he noticed that his chest plate, helmet, sword, shield, and all of his accessories where missing. Not only that, but he had lost all of his extra strength and skills he had seemingly moments ago, it was like something came and just ripped them out. "Are you looking for something?" the old man asked still puzzled. "My equipment is missing, and so is my gold for that matter." Adrian said as he snapped back to the old man.
"I guess someone must have stolen them while you were out." said the old man now wandering what he would do now. "You were out for a few days since I found you. What will you do?" "First I need to find a place to stay. Is there anywhere here where I can make a shelter?" He said "Oh no sonny, you can't build a reasonable shelter in time, it will be dark soon. Why don't you stay with me for a while?" the old man said with a look of concern for his new found friend. "Alright." He said, knowing that this simple act of kindness well eventually lead to trouble for the man.
Sypha's Prologue
Sypha Belenades had always dreamed of destroying the Tyrant who had taken over her homeland. Today she was finally ready, she gathered the supplies she needed and headed towards the ominous castle.
After taking out most of the guards in the woods she noticed something didn't feel right, there was a powerful magic force heading her way. She started to build up her energy, it got closer, and closer till it reached her, but she couldn't see it. Knowing that if it got any closer it would be to late she fired a blast in that general direction.
She heard the scream of a dying Oroboros, content that she destroyed the force Sypha continued only to find it right in front of her, it enveloped her and disappeared.
Chapter 2 Sypha's Story
"The Mayor seems to be helping another wandering traveler." My Mom exclaimed "I don't know why, after what happened the last time." "You mean the last five times." My I corrected. We were having dinner like always, my Mom always liked to inform me and my brother of the goings on in the village at the time, maybe she wanted me to learn from it and become the mayor or something, or she was trying to get my mind off of that fiend. Either way killing is all I’ve wanted to do... that’s all my father taught me to do; before he was killed by that fiend they call our ruler. "Maybe you should keep an eye on him, you know, to save the Mayor some trouble later on." 'That’s not a bad idea' I thought, if he is a good fight then I might learn a thing or two if I end up fighting him, and if I win the mayor might reward me. If I lose however, what happens next is up to him; still I think it's worth it.
Sypha woke up in the woods, the first thing she noticed was the signs of smoke that told there was a village nearby, but she also noticed that her magic energy was gone, and so was all of her equipment. So she went towards the village. Once she arrived, she noticed that it was a port town called Eyur, the building where no more than two stories tall, the streets where clean, and there where many stands with people selling fish of every kind. As for homes it seemed as though most of the buildings where residential, with a weapon shop, pub, and an armor shop here and there. By now she was in the square, there was a statue of a man probably the Mayor of the city. It was starting to get dark and she needed to find a place to stay. So she headed to the nearest Inn and stayed there for the night.
When she awoke she started to look for clues as to how she got there, Logically she started at the places where she awoke in the woods, When she had returned Sypha noticed that there were burn marks in the grass that weren't there before, as she examined them she noticed that they were shaped like something, but she couldn't tell what it was so she levitated up just high enough to see that it was a arrow that pointed west and a name, most likely a city, the name was Shur. Sypha headed west till she reached a small village. As she made her way through she heard the clash of metal, when she got to the square she saw that it was a fight, a young man, from the way he fought she could tell he was probably a hunter, and the other, which was winning, fought with much more skill then the other, even though his weapon and equipment was inferior.
