Chapter 5 The Quest Begins

"First thing first, we need to find another town before that mob finds us." Alucard stated

"There is another town just to the north of here. Our people aren't excepted very well there so they won't follow." Victor suggested

"Perfect, Victor show us the way. But first, Earl, do you want to come with us?" Alucard said

"I see no need to go back to Shur with it in its current state, I'll come with you till the people calm down." Earl replied

They began to walk, after a short while

"Alucard, tell me the rest of you theory." Sypha asked.

"Well if your here, but don't know me, and then there's that boy from 2035, I can only guess that we were brought back, or possibly forward in your case, in time. But one is not simply thrust back in time, it takes great power to do something like that. So then the only question is whom was it that brought us here? But enough about my theory, I want to hear about you Soma." Alucard looked at the boy.

"Well I already told you I'm from the 2035 Japan, what else is there to tell?" Soma said

"There's a lot, Why do you think your here, you must have some power? What is it? It didn't seem like you used it back there." Alucard replied

"In the year 1999 the Belmont, Julius, sealed his whip into Dracula's castle, while the vampire was still week. By doing so he a trapped him, and his castle in the eclipse. It was in 2035 that my people were watching the eclipse. I went to the Habaku shrine to watch it with Mina. When I passed through the gate I woke up in the castlevania grounds, it was there that I learned I had the power of Dominance, the power to control Dracula's monsters souls.
Four months later I ended up here. After the event I never needed to use the power, so I guess it faded from me. I haven’t found any monsters here yet so I have no power currently." Soma explained.

Then they reached the town Sumar.

"Alright, remember to lay low, we don't want to attract to much attention to ourselves after what happened in Shur." Alucard said

They rented a room in the Inn there (Remember this is an RPG, they would have gotten money from the beast on there way there)

"Alright Victor, time for some training. I need some power so your going to help me find some monsters to kill." Soma said to the boy.

They went into town try and find any rumors of powerful monster in the area. The best place was the tavern there. Once they got there they sat down at the bar and ordered a drink (there both about 18, plus this is way back when so cut me some slack)

"I once fought a Treant that ravaged through my village, It was a close fight but of course I won, it was after that I decided to hunt monsters, you don't happen to know of any in this area?" Soma asked the man that sat next to him.

"I happen to know of quit a few, Soma!" The man replied.
