Kim awoke to find himself in a bed with white sheets. Around him lay white walls.

TBG leaned over from his chair."How do you feel, Kim?"

Kim groaned in pain."After that fire, you mean? Well, I guess in the nicest terms....I FEEL LIKE SH*T!"

TBG's eyes widened."Well, at least you survived..."


Kim looked towards the door."Hey, how is Buff? Did he get out okay?"

TBG didn't answer, only bowing his head.

"Well?"

TBG sighed."Buff died saving you. Just as the cans exploded, Buff risked his life to push MIC out of the way...."

Kim heard shouting and noticed a wheelchair. He motioned for TBG to help him into it.


Once outside, Kim rolled down the hallway, from which he heard MIC's shouting voice.

He rounded the corner, narrowly hitting Niklaw.

From what it appeared, MIC was going into shock at the fact that Buff was dead. He refused to let the death go unnoticed and was doing his best to go for Kim.

"Hey now, let's not get carried away, MIC!", Four shouted as he and Suyo rushed in to aid Nik.

MIC saw Kim and pulled out a knife from his pocket."KIM!! IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!!"

He rushed to Kimonio, raising the knife above his head to strike and kill Kim.

It was Ridder who saved him.

MIC found himself on the ground, Ridder holding him down by shoving his neck into the tiles."This is complete bullcrap, you hear me, MIC? Buff's dead and you blame it on Kim! If it wasn't for Kim, we wouldn't know about the new bullets!>_>"

The group stared at Ridder in shock.

Finally, Four broke the silence."Uh, how do you know of the bullets, Ridder?..."

Ridder reached into his pocket, withdrawing one of the bullets that Kim had designed."Found this in the remains of the Tavern....it was lying inside a cyboric skeleton."

Kim held out his mutant hand, beckoning for Ridder to place the supernatural weapon into it."Thank you, Ridder..."

MIC jumped up and began sprinting from the hospital."You'll pay, Kim!!! His death will not go in vain!!!"

TBG stared at the running MIC."......Well, that was extremely anti-climatic.O_O"

Kim nodded with a grim look on his face."I don't think that MIC will return to us soon....the death may turn him against us...."

Hmm…I like…but I feel like things are rushed and it's not very original. Good…though I seriously hope I'm not the villain all of a sudden…that would just be a bad move in terms of the storyline. But if you develop this internal conflict well, it could really be brilliant.

Two months later............

Kim stood outside the Tavern, staring at the foundation. Somewhere, buried under tons of cement and dirt, lay the burnt bones of Buffooner.

Tears began to fill Kim's eyes. Why did he have to start cleaning? Why did he have to look beneath the table, activating the bomb?

A click sounded in his ear, and Kim saw what appeared to be an arrow sticking from the wall.

He traced the angle it pointed from, and it appeared to be coming from the Never-Ending Story.

He stiffened. He had never entered that place. Legend had it that words were what had made the building. What would happen if spoke?

Shaking the thought from his head, Kim rushed into the building, beginning the search for the assassin.....

Kim rushed inside the building, hoping to strike back at his stalker.

"LOCK."

Bars came down, entrapping Kim.

Kim started turning to find the voice's source.

A spambot stepped from the shadows."Ah, so this is the person who set off our bomb meant for Niklaw.......interesting..."


Kim reached behind him, drawing his katanas."What do you want with me?!"

The spambot chuckled."Buried underneath eons of soil lies the source of the world. In it is the key to ruling the world. And that key is..........you."

Kim stared at him."What do I have to do with anything?!"

The spambot grinned."Loads. For one example, you are the only one who was able to produce the new weapons for your friends. You have theories of unpredictable talent. You are THE ONE."

Kim shook his head."If you want me, you'll have to fight me to the death!"

The spambot smirked."A fight to the death?"

He raised a hand, and the building broke from the ground, flying into the air. Just as it was border-lining the atmosphere of the planet and space, the building began to plummet down to Earth.

The spambot cackled."This is where it ends, fool!"

Kim stared at the spambot. He was right....the building was formed from words. Whatever he said is what happened in that building....and he needed to take advantage of this or die a horrible death.
