Chapter 1: show
Chapter 1: After the War.
Six months had passed since the war happened. It took a while, but Runouw.com was finally beginning to smile again. The reconstruction of the city was long, but it worked. Even the newest users wanted to help, and they did. Why do people help each other? It’s for love. I think that everyone in this world feels, have felt or at least will feel love someday. Well, to be fair I haven’t received love since that night, but it’s good to counter pain with a smile and a good attitude.
The only one that still was worried was Nan. He couldn’t stop thinking if KyRay wasn’t really dead. But he had no time to worry about that. Excluding JRFD, he was probably the one that worked the most to rebuild the city. The Off-topic section was completely finished, which helped users to relax after their hard work, especially Demonik’s tavern, which (as you would expect) rootbeer was in every table, and food was getting served as tnt blasted the ones that ordered stupid stuff.
But meanwhile most users where in the tavern, Nan was outside, looking at the Lake (Runopolis had a lake!?) with Beatrice. He couldn’t focus on her though; the fact the KyRay could be alive was driving him crazy. When she left, Nan heard a strange male voice in his head.
“Nan, I know what it feels to be different. That pain, I know all about it. Now you’re happy, right? But… what about the rest that are different? Do they deserve to suffer so much pain for that? Being special should'nt be such a punishment, right?”
“No…. I wish I could help them.” Said Nan. “But…..how am I supposed to help them?”
“I have the same wish than yours, Nan. I want to live in a world where everybody can be happy, without pain or suffering. People say it’s impossible, but I’m very sure it’s not.”
Nan wanted to smile, but he couldn’t. He was rather sad, because he remembered everything that happened when he was younger.
“If you want to help me to make both wishes true (mine and yours)” said the voice “then wait me at the top of the building of useless discussions in Serious Discussions today at 9pm.”
House of the Eternal Clan.
I was sleeping. Then two powerful spirits of light and darkness came, just to punishme for no reason.
They bothered me for like 30 minutes, but I'm stronger than them! I can stand it! Nobody is going to take me away from my dreams. I'm to lazy for that....
"Wake up!", said Illumina.
"It's worthless, we must use physical ways!", answered Umbra.
"No. We could, but we must not. He is old enough, and we REALLY don't want another brother fight to see who is going to be the new Soul Keeper."
"Really? I can control my power! I'm not killing him!"
"Umbra, he doesn't deserve that! After all, he've been a good Soul Keeper. He knows better than us that physical pain doesn't work!"
“Yes! But also the laziest! Lordpat, Come on! Wake up!” said Umbra “What are you waiting for?”
“Let me sleep” I said, with my eyes closed.
“Dear God! You’re a lazy bad dog!” said Illumina.
“Not because I am a dog means that you can tell me those kinds of things” I said, and my eyes were still closed.
“You must wake up! There is a big problem!”
I opened my eyes, but in less than a second, I shut them again.
“Why do you need me? Is someone making problems with the souls?” I said, sleepy.
“Not really, but…” said Umbra when I interrupted her.
“Then it’s not my problem” I answered back.
“It is your brother” said Illumina.
Finally I opened my eyes, and I sat.
“Dexter? What’s going on with him?”
“Your brother is not here, or anywhere in the Eternal place.”
“We think he’s in Runouw.com, but we are not very sure.” Umbra said.
“Dexter is a lot stronger than me, I hardly think he’s in trouble.”
“He’s your brother, how can you not take care of him?”
“He’s my twin; I’m only two minutes older than him.” I said “Besides, he’s old enough to take care of himself”
“We are worried that he may be the one causing trouble…” said Illumina.
“Dexter? I don’t think that he can ma….”
“Read this note" said Umbra, while Illumina was giving me the note:
“I must do something I wanted to do a while ago. Please don’t look at me; I’m not doing anything wrong.”
“He’s such a bad liar.” I said. “I guess I must go to Runopolis and figure out what he’s doing.”
Useless discussions building, roof.
When Nan reached the top, he saw a guy with a blue robe and a red cloak. The shadow of his hood (which seemed to be part of the robe) made it impossible to see his face.
“You are the one that talked to me, right?” Nan said.
“No, I’m not the master, I only serve him.” the guy replied.
Nan saw that this guy had a glove, with the shape of a claw, with the letter “W” in the palm.
“My name is W. I’m the master’s loyalist warrior. I know you want to help us. We should talk about it.”
Nan was quite puzzled. Who is this master, is it Master1.0? And this master has warriors? If he joined them he could wear those cool robes? In the end he agreed, after all, this “master” wanted to help the Runouw.com.
When he was getting closer to Nan, W was hit by a green beam.
'What is going on?' Thought Nan, as he watched the shadow of the one that shoot the beam, he couldn’t recognize him, but something is sure, it was a dog.

Chapter 2: show
Chapter 2: Nan and Lordpat! The paralyzing encounter!
“Who are you?” asked Nan angrily
, “and why did you attack W?
I ignored him, and I decided to beat W, who, by the way, was already standing.
“A simple beam?” said W “that’s all you have?”
“No,” I answered him “what about 99999 beams?”
“Let’s see how you can do that while I’m hitting you!” he said and he run with his claw closed as a fist. I was fast enough to dodge him. But I couldn’t dodge the second hit. ‘This guy is not that weak at all’ I thought, while I
dodged more hits that he was throwing at me with his claw-less hand.
“What’s going on? I don’t see 99999 beams!”
Suddenly, 99999 Lordpats appeared from the nothing.
“Ah! There are too many of them!”
“What are you talking about? There’s onl…” Nan said when I interrupted, “shhhhhh!”
“I’m out of here” said W as he jumped to another building.
“My God!” said Nan “What was he talking about too many of them!?”
“Well” I said “I must leave!”
“Shadow paralysis!”
I could hardly move.
“I want you to answer me. You made W a madman and that gives me a feeling that you’re a bad guy!”
“Come on! Stop it!
“Who are you?”
I guess I couldn’t do anything but talking.
“I am Lordpat, now you know it. Now let me go!”
“NO! What are you?!”
“I am a cute black and white cocker. Happy?
“THAT WASN’T WHAT I MEANT.”
“I am a leader of a Clan”
“Which Clan are you talking about?!”
“Look Nan, I don’t feel like hurting you so….”
“How do you know my name!?”
“I know Umbra, and I also know your girlfriend!”
“She’s not my girlfriend! She’s my friend!”
“Look, Nan, let me go and both of us will be happier.”
“NO IS NO! I told you I was not letting you go until you answer me! What are you doing here?”
‘This will not work’ I thought ‘Ok, I should give him one warning more’.
“If you don’t let me go, it will hurt you, A LOT”
“You can’t do that while I’m paralyzing you. I’m not letting you go!”
“Pain in the EYE”
Nan looked at my blind eye (I have one grey eye which cannot see). Then he felt a pain he’d never felt before. It was a lot worse than any pain he’d ever suffered!
“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!” shouted Nan of pain.
Once it was over, Nan could heavily breathe.
‘Poor him’ I thought ‘but he gets that for not letting me go’
When I tried to move…….
‘Why I can’t move!’
“I….told……you……I AM NOT LETTING YOU GO!”
‘Impossible’ I thought, ‘after all that pain, he can hold the paralyzing shadow! Umbra, you’ve chosen well’.
“I am impressed, I must admit.” I said “Now, let me go, and I will explain you all”
I have no idea why did he release me, but I think that he can difference the lie and the truth quite easily.

“I am Lordpat. And I am the leader of the Eternal clan. Our objective is to keep the balance in the universe”
“Huh? Weren’t Umbra and Illumina the ones that……
“Light and darkness are not the only things that must be kept in balance, you know? There are also spirits of life and death, beasts and humans…
“And you are…..”
“I am the guardian of the Souls, some people think they can corrupt other’s souls, or an evil spirit appear and absorbs the soul of the people. When someone dies, their body is dead, and the soul is taken by the spirits. If there’s no soul, you become an object. As simple as that. And that’s no good. The whole clan must protect the souls of the people, and as a leader, I must take full responsibility…*cough*which I don’t*
“And what is happening? Someone’s soul is in danger?”
“In fact, I need your help. Dexter talked to you, what did he said?”
“Who is Dexter? You mean the voice I heard at the lake?”
“Yes.”
“He told me something of making this world free from pain, who is him anyway?”
“He is my brother. He suffered a lot of pain in the past. I guess he wants to make a world without sorrow…”
“And what is wrong about it?”
“You don’t get it, right? He is going to destroy Runouw.com, so he can make a new world from 0.
I think Nan was more shocked that the rest of the world together.
“He makes you feel that you’re doing something good” I told him “and in the end you never realize what you’re
doing.”
“Is…is…..is him strong?” he asked, he was a bit scared.
I didn’t answer him. He was already scared; imagine how he would feel if I told him that his powers were far more superior to mines.
Runopolis streets.
“So you couldn’t defeat Pat, too bad.” Said a dog, he was like me but he had no blind eye, and he had more white fur.
“Sorry, MasterDexter, I tried” said W.
“Forget it, now let’s pass this city. Don’t call anybodies attention! We don’t need a fight now.” Dexter whispered to W “Let’s move quicker”
“Hey Bro., who are those guys? I’ve never seen them before” asked Robert (Runouw).
“I don’t know. Maybe they are newbies, we should give them a warm welcome” replied Steve (Runouw).
“MasterD, the Runouw brothers are coming toward us.”
“Hurry up!”
Both W and MasterD started running. But so did the Runouw brothers.
And a stupid persecution all around the city happened. They were at the Rule section when finally….
“I am tired of running” said W.
“Ok, you’re telling me we should fight.”
“I didn’t tell you that.”
“Too bad, because I am doing it anyway!”
They finally stopped, the Runouw brothers reached to them.
“Welcome to Runouw.com! Who are you?” asked Runouw (Steve).
“Bro. Look at the dog! He is a member of the eternal Clan.”
“Ok, I think I’m going….” Said MasterD.
“No you’re not! You are MasterDexter, right?”
“So now everybody knows me!”
“I heard you want to do something wrong, and you better surrender now, because we have no mercy with bad guys” warned Robert.
“MasterD, I don’t think…..
“Yes, I will. I can take care of this two guys in a second. Let’s have some fun”
Everybody looked each other’s face. A battle was ready to begin!
