Chapter 1 - Intro
BAM.
Everyone inside the building known as Forum 23 looked up at the source of the sound. All they saw, however, was a foot. There was now a foot protruding from the entrance to the building.
"Uh, brando? It's brando isn't it."
"It's funny how you know that right off the bat."
The two voices were MessengerOfDreams, also known as Moy, and fourinone, also known as, lovingly, Foru. The "also known as" was almost exclusive to brandobrawl, the owner of the previously mentioned foot.
"Yeah, hilarious. Now help me get my foot out of the door," brando said. His voice was slightly muffled as his foot was the only thing currently in the room.
"Quit yer ♥♥♥♥♥', it's your own fault," said Moy, who was there in an instant. With literally supernatural speed. Such things were nothing out of the ordinary in this particular city, though, it being a side-effect of exposure to the great energy the Data Cores emitted. Everyone had their own unique ability, developed over time, but with normal users rarely ever having to use them in actual conflicts, it was commonplace that they simply be used for messing around.
"My fault? It's my fault that whoever the hell makes these doors makes them so flimsy?" brandobrawl was grimacing in pain as Moy was having trouble dislodging him from it without roughing his leg up.
"No, it's your fault that you get the brilliant idea of driving your leg...THROUGH THEM!"
Crack.
"Uh oh."
Brandobrawl had succesfully gotten his foot out of the door. Because there was no longer any door, so to speak. Moy had pushed with a little too much force, and went face forward with the remaining pieces of wood.
"OW SPLINTERS OW ♥♥♥♥."
"OW MOY GET OFF ME OW. "
"OW-hey Foru you were nowhere near the door why are you on top of us."
"It looked like fun. OW."
At that moment, they heard a voice say
APRIL FOOOOOLLLLLSSSSSS
I just went and copypasta'd an excerpt I'd already written. Foru and Ven will know.
Time will tell if I actually give this one last go. I won't blame you all for losing interest, it's my own fault. Until that time, then.
