The Runouw Emissary

It was night and I was in Niklaw's Tavern, having dinner and chatting with other members of Runouw.com. I decided to play SSBB, so I laid down on the couch to play it. After a while, everyone had left and I was very tired. I turned off the Wii and went to sleep.
When I woke up, I realized I wasn't in Niklaw's Tavern. I wasn't even in Runouw City, let alone the Off-Topic forum! I saw that I was high in the sky in a building with only one room. I looked at myself and realized I had transformed into Pit! I was amazed by this and wondered how this happened.
Meanwhile, back at Runouw's forums, SuperStar X woke up, yawned, and rolled out of bed.
"Nice day," he said.
He got dressed and went to the News forum to check for new posts. He saw a brand-new topic entitled "The Niklaw's Tavern Disappearance" and went inside to read the posts. It said something about a man Zunar disappearing out of thin air while napping in Niklaw's Tavern.
SSX was interested, so he headed to the tavern. When he got there, there was a bunch of people crowding around the Wii and TV.
"What's going on here?" SSX asked.
"Didn't you hear the news?" someone asked.
"Some user named Zunar disappeared while napping on the couch! Niklaw came in and was cleaning dishes when he saw a flash of light and Zunar was gone!" someone else said.
"How could a thing like that happen?!" SSX asked, bewildered.
"No idea!" another replied.
SSX pushed through the crowd and tapped the Wii several times. Suddenly he felt a mysterious power surging through him and he blacked out.
When he woke up, we realized he was lying down. He got up and started to dust himself off but then stopped.
"Blue overalls...," SSX said, looking down. He put his hand on his head...or rather, his hat. He took his hat off.
"Red...with an M..." Suddenly SSX found himself in a stadium with thousands of people watching him. He put his cap back on and posed. The crowd cheered.
He saw something out of the corner of his eye and turned around. An object fell to the ground not too far from him. It was made in the shape of a Super Smash Bros. character.
"Wha? That's Kirby!" SSX said. Then he remembered what happened in The Subspace Emissary when he played it normally. He went over, tapped the bottom, and the trophy disappeared. A figure in the shape of Kirby appeared, got up, and looked around.
"Wh...where am I?" it asked.
"I have no idea," SSX replied, striking another pose.
"Superstar X?!" the figure said, surprised.
"The one and only. I just don't know how I got here. Or why I'm here," SSX replied, getting more applause from the audience.
"Me either. I'm Silver Sonic_106," the figure replied.
"Weren't you the guy who told me about Zunar?" SSX replied, striking another pose for the audience.
"Yeah. But why oh why did I turn into Kirby? I wish I could've been a better character," Silver replied.
"Now we brawl!" SSX said, striking a battle pose.
"Why?" Silver asked, puzzled.
"Don't you remember what happens in The Subspace Emissary?" SSX asked.
"Oh yeah! I remember now!" Silver replied. He struck a battle pose.
"Brawl!" SSX yelled.
SSX jumped up and smacked Silver on the head, knocking him backwards. Silver got up, jumped up, and attacked SSX with a Final Cutter. SSX countered by spinning around and sending Silver flying, throwing a fireball after him. Silver inhaled SSX, spit him back out, and then threw several fireballs at him.
SSX primed FLUDD and blasted Silver with water. Silver finally got tired of throwing fireballs and attacked SSX with a hammer. SSX Super Jump Punched Silver and sent him flying into the air. Silver recovered, transformed, and slammed down hard on SSX. SSX got sent flying off the stage, but he managed to recover and strike a few blows on Silver.
Silver recovered and tried to smash SSX off-stage but SSX recovered and countered by smashing Silver way off. Silver almost lost, but he just barely recovered. Suddenly a Smash Ball appeared.
"Mine!" they both yelled at the same time. The attacked it, and then each other, trying to get to the Smash Ball.
SSX broke it and fired his Final Smash, Mario Finale, at Silver. Silver was sent flying off-stage, with him screaming "NOOOO!!!!!!!".
Meanwhile, Zunar was watching SuperStar X and Silver Sonic_106 brawl using a giant circular pot. He watched as SSX slapped the trophy again, turning it back into Silver.
Back at the stadium, Silver looked around, puzzled.
"I thought you beat me," he said.
"I did, and you transformed into a trophy. When I touched it, you came back to life," SSX replied.
"Well, thanks!" Silver replied. He and SSX waved to the crowd to show their good sportsmanship.
Up in the stands, SuperSpongerific shook his head and got up.
"Where am I?" he asked. He looked down at himself. "What the f**k?! Why am I a girl?!"
"Who're you?" a voice behind SS said.
Startled, SS whirled around to see a figure which looked like Zelda.
"I'm SuperSpongerific and for some reason I've been transformed into a girl!" SS explained.
"I'm Tea, Superyoshi's sister. How'd we get here?"
"I have no idea," SS replied. He turned back to watch SSX and Silver fight.
"Is that Mario and Kirby?" Tea asked.
"Looks like it, but seeing as we've been turned into SSBB characters, those are probably other Runouw.com users!" SS replied.
Back on-stage, Silver and SSX were waving to the crowd happily. They shook hands.
"You were good, Silver!" SSX complimented.
"You too, SSX!" Silver replied.
Suddenly the sky got dark and they saw tons of purple orb-looking things come raining down onto the stadium. They were actually bugs, and once they hit the ground, they formed into weird doll-looking creatures. Primids.
On the balcony, SS and Tea saw this and realized that SSX and Silver would need their help. Tea used Farore's Wind to warp down there and SS opened a parasol and floated gracefully down.
"You guys need help?" Tea asked.
"Who're you?" SSX asked, puzzled.
"I'm Tea, Superyoshi's sister. Where are we?" Tea asked.
"Apparently we're in the Subspace Emissary," Silver replied.
"The WHAT?" SS replied
"The Subspace--wait, hold on. SuperSpongerific?" SSX asked.
SS nodded.
"OH MY GOD! You're a girl!" SSX replied.
"I got turned into a girl, for your information," SS replied.
"That's sick!" Silver replied, turning away. The Primids were starting to close in...
"Guys, no time to worry about that," Tea replied. "We've got a bigger problem on our hands."
"Right," SSX replied.
SSX punched a Primid in the face and it flew way off.
"Wow, these guys are weak!" he said. He started to pummel some others. Silver inhaled and spit out one, which knocked into another and sent them both flying far away. Then Silver smashed some with a hammer and then used a Final Cutter to finish more off. SS slapped one silly and Peach Bombered another.
"This is just so wrong on so many levels," SS said to himself, still puzzled at why he was turned into a girl. He proceeded to slap the crap out of some more Primids. Tea used Din's Fire and Nayru's Love to defeat some, and kicked others. Finally all the Primids were defeated.
"Man, that was exhausting," SSX said, wiping the sweat off his forehead.
Suddenly, a creature came over the walls of the stadium on a hoverpad and dropped a bomb. Two robots attached to the bomb and opened it.
"OMG, it's a bomb! It's set for three minutes!" SSX said.
The creature, satisfied, flew off. SSX dashed towards the bomb, but heard something and stopped. He turned around and a cannonball was launched at him, sending him flying way far away.
"No!!! SSX!!!" Silver yelled. Suddenly Petey Piranha appears and cages SS and Tea! Silver then realizes he must fight Petey if Tea and SS are to escape...
Silver started pummeling Petey with his hammer. Petey swung the cage that held SS at Silver. Not wanting to hurt SS, Silver jumped out of the way. Petey started smashing Tea's cage against the ground, in an effort to hit Silver.
Silver hit Petey with a Final Cutter, and then pummeled him with his hammer. Petey jumped up and slammed on the ground, but then burst into flames.
"It's a robot!" Silver realized.
Silver and Tea jumped from the explosion, unharmed.
"Hey, where's SS?" Silver asked.
Suddenly someone fell from the sky into the stadium holding a huge gun. Wario. He aimed the gun at Tea and Silver and they jumped back in terror. Wario laughed maniacally.
Then out of the corner of his eye he saw SS, lying wounded near the wreckage. Wario aimed his gun at SS and fired. Too injured to dodge, SS was shot by the gun and turned into a trophy. Wario jumped over, grabbed it, and laughed again.
"No!!! SS!!!" Silver yelled.
Wario jumped away and Tea and Silver started to chase after him. As they went by the bomb, Silver noticed that there was only 5 seconds until the bomb blew up.
"Tea! Hold on! The bomb's gonna blow!" Silver yelled.
The bomb exploded and created a black hole that sucked the whole stadium into it. Silver and Tea barely got away using a Warp Star.
"I have to go help them!" Zunar said to himself.
Suddenly he turned around and Palutena appeared. Zunar ran over and kneeled down in front of her. Palutena put out her hand and a bow appeared. It floated over to Zunar and he grabbed it.
Then, Palutena pointed to the exit. Zunar nodded and ran off. He climbed some stairs, turned around, and put his arms out, as to form a 'T' with his body. Doors opened behind him and he fell backwards, wind flapping against his wings.
After falling for a bit, he flipped around and started to fly through the clouds, not knowing what to expect. He flipped around several times in enjoyment and kept on flying.
After flying for a bit, he landed on a cloud and looked around. A jet came up through the clouds and dropped Primids. Zunar didn't know what was happening, but when the Primids started to encircle him, he got ready to fight them all.
He disconnected Palutena's Bow and made two short blades, which he used to pummel some Primids. Then he connected the blades and shot several arrows around him, fighting through the Primids.
Suddenly a Greap fell from the sky and almost crushed him. Zunar used several Angel Rings to defeat it, and he pressed on. He had escaped the Primids and he saw something way far off on one of the clouds. He rushed over to it and found that it was a trophy. SuperStar X.
Zunar tapped it and SSX came to life. He pulled his hat up, and then flashed back to when he was sent into the sky. He got up and looked at Zunar.
"Hey, are you alright?" Zunar asked.
"TheZunar123?!" SSX replied.
"Yes, I'm TheZunar123. And...aren't you SuperStar X?" Zunar asked.
"Yep!" SSX replied.
"Now how'd you get up here?" Zunar asked.
SSX told him what had happened.
"Well, we can't just stand here twiddling our thumbs all day. Let's go!" Zunar replied.
SSX nodded and they jumped off the platform. SSX jumped across the clouds and Zunar flew beside him.
They saw the jet that had ejected the Primids and they followed it for a long time but SSX stopped to catch his breath and Zunar stopped with him. They watched as the jet soared away.
Suddenly they heard something and turned around.
"That's an Arwing!" Zunar said.
"A what?" SSX replied, confused.
"An Arwing. It's a Starfox ship. That's probably Fox!" Zunar replied.
Meanwhile, Silver and Tea were flying through the sky on a Warp Star, not noticing the airship behind them. The airship came close and Tea noticed it.
"Uh, Silver? I think we have a problem...," she said.
"What kind of problem?" Silver asked, looking behind him. "HOLY CRAP!"
They veered upward to escape the airship but the ship went upward as well and crashed into them, throwing them onto the deck of the airship.
"What is this?" Tea asked.
"I have no idea. Let's check it out," Silver replied.
"Good idea," Tea agreed.
They walked down the top of the airship until... BLAM BLAM BLAM!
"What the?" Silver said, surprised.
He stopped and saw that the airship's cannons were firing at a mysterious jet that was flying around them. The jet did all sorts of spins and flips to avoid the shots until finally the airship's mechanical arm reached out and struck the jet.
The jet started smoking and it spun downward towards the airship. It flew just above Silver and Tea's heads and the huge rush of air knocked them clean off the airship.
They landed on some clouds and started to traverse among them, hoping to find someone they knew. After a while, they saw that the clouds led to the ground. They continued to follow the clouds along the path. They met a Greap but, working together, they finished it off.
Down in the Jungle, a Koopa Troopa and a Goomba are driving a cart overflowing with bananas away from the jungle. Loud sounds are heard from inside it and a huge monkey jumps out and roars. Shadrixian.
"Where's my bananas!?" Shade shouted angrily.
He looked over a cliffside and saw the cart overflowing with bananas and got even angrier. The Goomba jumped to the backseat and started firing Bullet Bills at Shade, but then a much smaller monkey in a t-shirt and hat ran out of the woods, jumped off Shade, and fired peanuts at all the Bullet Bills, making them explode.
"It's on!" YoshiKid54 said. He and Shade raced after the cart in an effort to get those bananas back.
After a while of following the cart, they came upon a huge hoard of bananas.
"Bananas!!!" Shade said.
"Oh YES!!!" YK54 said in unison.
Then, a loud BAM was heard and the ground shook. Shade and YK54 turned around to see...
"Bowser!" Shade shouted, in shock.
"I am the Jellonator! Give me those bananas or feel my wrath! Bwa ha ha ha!"
"Pal, you ain't getting these bananas!" YK54 said, jumping in front of Shade. Jello pulled out a menacing-looking blaster and charged it up. Shade punched YK54 off to who knows where and got hit by the blast of Jello's blaster, which turned him into a trophy.
SSX and Zunar were walking down a path. They found a lot of enemies on the path, but that didn't stop them.
After walking and killing a lot of things, they spotted the monster on the hoverpad again, and it was holding a bomb.
"He's got a Bob-Omb!!!" SSX shouted.
"Really? You had to make that reference?" Zunar groaned, rolling his eyes.
SSX ran and jumped up to the monster, but didn't quite make it. Zunar jumped on top of SSX and bounced off of him, but he missed too.
SSX landed face-down and Zunar absorbed the impact by kneeling. Zunar looked up and saw the monster flying away, but there was nothing he could do about it.
"Ouch! What'd you do that for, Zunar?" SSX groaned, rubbing his head.
"Sorry," Zunar replied, "I was just trying to reach that guy."
"I know, but... couldn't you have flown up to him?" SSX asked.
"Oh yeah..." replied Zunar, facepalming.
"Well, there's nothing we can do about it now," remarked SSX as he got up. "Let's go."
YoshiKid54 swung and jumped through the jungle and made it to a lake where he saw a broken jet-type thingy.
What is that? he wondered.
While traveling towards it, the ground shook and a huge lizard-like pokemon emerged. Rayquaza.
Rayquaza spots YK54 and lets out a screeching roar. YK54 tried to keep Rayquaza away from him, but it was too late. Rayquaza fired an energy ball at the jet and the shock knocked YK54 to the ground. Rayquaza flew in at him and nabbed him. He roared at YK54, but then a fox jumped out of the jet and sliced Rayquaza's hand! Roaring in pain, Rayquaza released YK54. Rayquaza charged up an energy ball, but the fox uses his shield to reflect it back. Rayquaza falls into the water.
"Who are you?" YK54 asked.
"I'm Daniellikesmario63." the fox replied.
"Really? Cool. What happened to your jet?" YK54 asked, pointing to it.
"You mean my Arwing," Dlm replied, looking over his shoulder at the jet.
"Yeah, that." YK54 replied.
"Well, I was battling a big airship when it shot one of my wings. I crash-landed here, and the next thing I knew, Rayquaza was attacking you," Dlm explained. "I thought you needed some help, so I lent you a hand. Or more precisely, a knife." Dlm chuckled.
"Very funny," YK54 said, rolling his eyes.
Rayquaza suddenly came out of the water, roaring.
"Now we gotta take care of this thing!" Dlm said, grabbing his blaster.
Dlm jumped forward and fired his blaster. YK54 fired his popguns, and then flipped toward Rayquaza, latching onto it and attacking. Rayquaza threw YK54 off and then fired an energy ball at Dlm. Dlm reflected it and dashed through Rayquaza. YK54 starts attacking it, but doesn't do much before he's thrown off again. Dlm and YK54 decide to team up against Rayquaza with regular attacks, and eventually Rayquaza falls back into the water, beaten.
"Yes! We beat him!" YK54 triumphantly, jumping happily.
"Well, that's done," Dlm said. Then he turned and walked away.
"Come with me, Dlm!" YK54 said, grabbing him.
"No, let me go!" Dlm objected, shaking YK54 off. He started walking away again, but YK54 grabbed him, dragging him along."OK, alright! I'll come with you!" Dlm caved.
"Yay!" said YK54.
YK54 and Dlm are running away from the lake, and eventually run into a dark, shadowy-looking Bowser.
"Alright buddy, move!" YK54 said.
Dark Bowser roars.
"I don't think he's going to," Dlm remarked.
"Well, if he's not going to move, we'll MAKE him move!" YK54 said.
YK54 and Dlm jumped at Dark Bowser and started pummeling him. They used a variety of moves like they did with Rayquaza, and eventually Dark Bowser turned into a trophy.
"A trophy?! WTF?" YK54 said. He walked over to it, but it faded into shadow-like bits.
Just then, a laser is coming toward them and they jump out of the way. It was Bowser!
"Let's get him!" YK54 said, readying his popguns.
"No, come back here! He's got a gun that's bigger and more powerful than ours! Let's get out of here!" Dlm said, grabbing YK54. He then jumped down a cliff, with Bowser laughing in the distance.
At an old and abandoned zoo, a boy is walking down the path. He had neatly combed blonde hair, a red and yellow striped shirt, and short, blue jeans. Who is this strange boy?
Suddenly, from behind him, a spooky groaning noise is heard, and he turned around. Some purple bugs started raining down, and out of them Primids started to appear. So many Primids started to appear that he looks around him, searching for a way to escape. When none is found, he puts his hand over his mouth, whimpering out of fear.
Suddenly, a loud foot stomps behind him. A giant stone statue of Porky was coming at him!
"Aghhhhhh!" the boy screamed, and he started running. Suddenly he tripped over a root, trapping his foot.
While the boy struggled to free himself, the statue loomed closer, and closer. The boy eventually gave up trying to free himself and closed his eyes, ready to face his death. The statue is almost on top of him, when...
"PK THUNDER!"
A ball charged with electricity struck the statue, knocking it over. Seemingly from nowhere, another boy dropped in front of the other one. He was similar to the first boy, except he had yellow and blue stripes on his shirt, and has a cap on. He turned his cap gangster-style, and got ready to attack again. The statue quickly got up andjumped into the air.
The capped boy jumped up too, yelling "PK FLASH!".
Bright green lights flew toward the statue and disappear. A few seconds later, the statue exploded, revealing a kid in a mechanical spider-like contraption.
"Oh snap!" the capped boy said. He turned to face the other boy. "Come on, get up! Hurry!"
The capless boy got up, still shaking in fear.
"What's your name anyway?"
"I-I'm Nin-Nin10mo-mode..." the boy stuttered.
"Nin10mode? From Runouw.com?"
"Y-Yeah.."
"Cool! I'm Curlyguy06."
Curly turned to the statue. "We can talk later. For now, we gotta fight this thing!"
"Y-yeah..." Mode stuttered.
"Come on, get over it! Let's go!"
Curly jumped towards the contraption, attacking it.
Mode worked up his courage and yelled "PK FREEZE!", firing a blue flashing light at the contraption, which hit one of its legs, causing it to fall over. Curly seizes that opportunity and blasts the contraption with "PK FIRE!", causing the boy inside to get burned, and the contraption went crazy. Mode looked around and saw something strange: A ball with the Smash Bros. symbol on it! It was glowing with a rainbow-like aura, and looked ominous. Nonetheless, Mode went over to it and attacked it. Suddenly, Mode started glowing and felt an enormous amount of power surging through it.
"Stand back, Curly!" Mode shouted. He gathered his energy and used a special PSI power he was taught.
"PK...STARSTORM!"
Stars started raining down, striking the contraption. Eventually it exploded, flipped over, and curled up like a dead spider.
Curly turned to Mode. "Nice, dude!"
"T-thanks," Mode replied sheepishly, a little embarrassed. They hear a sound and look up to a nearby rock formation, which on top sits Wario, with a strange-looking blaster.
He locked-onto Curly, and prepared to fire, but Curly quickly jumped out of the way. Wario then started rapid-firing. Luckily, Curly managed to dodge all the shots.
Tired of shooting at a moving target, Wario shifted his aim to Mode, who is watching Curly dodge the shots. Curly stopped running, turned around, and saw the blaster aimed at Mode. Wario fired and Curly ran over and pushed Mode out of the way. Curly gets struck by the shot and turned into a trophy. Wario jumped down, laughing, and stomps toward Mode. Mode whimpered in fear, got up, and started running. Wario grabbed Curly (now a trophy), and started laughing evilly.
Mode walked down the road sadly, looking at the ground, much like he did before meeting Curly. He turned his head around to look behind him and bumped into something yellow. He turned to see that it was a bag, on the back of a tall teenager about twice his height. The teenager is wearing blue jeans, a red shirt with white stripes, and a red cap. His eyes are similar to Mode's, except they are white in areas. His hair is a brown-black color.
"Watch out," he warned, pointing in front of them.
Massive piles of shadow bugs were there, which quickly turned into roughly thirty or more Primids. Mode covered his mouth in fear; the teenager put his hand on Mode's back and laughed a quick, encouraging laugh as if to say "Don't worry!". The teenager then held out his arm to reveal a small strange ball with a button on the front. The top half is red while the bottom half is white, and a black line goes around the circumference of the ball.
He pressed the button and the ball expanded until it was just a little bigger than the teenager's hand. He pulled it back and spun forward, throwing it like a professional baseball pitcher. The ball sppun on its side and, on contact with the ground, a bright light came out and formed something on the ground. A strange turtle-like creature with a large head, blue skin and red eyes appeared.
"Go, Squirtle!" the teenager said, pointing at the Primids.
After all the Primids were defeated, the teenager took a quick look around.
"Phew," he sighed in relief, realizing there aren't any more Primids. He pulled out another oversized ball and gently threw it into the air. A red lightning bolt came out of it and struck Squirtle, who glowed red and was sucked up into the ball in a flash of red light. The ball fell to the ground and bounced back to the teenager, who caught it. He then looked at Mode, waving quickly to him, and walked off.
Mode stuttered forward and muttered something, then stopped and looked down. His mind quickly had flashbacks- Curly hitting the ground as a trophy, Wario staring it and laughing evilly... He then snapped back to reality. He looked up and, filled with new confidence, ran off to join the teenager.
"H-hey, w-wait for m-me!" Mode stuttered, running towards the teenager.
"Hey, what's your hurry?" the teenager asked.
"I-I want t-to join you," Mode said, "Y-you d-don't mind, d-do you?"
"No, not at all. By the way, I'm Tnt175, from Runouw's forums," the teenager replied.
"R-really?" Mode replied. "I'm Nin10mode."
"Oh hey! So I'm not the only person to be in this place!" Tnt replied, sighing in relief.
"Nope," Mode said, feeling safer by a fellow Runouw member. "I saw Curlyguy06 earier."
"Who's he?" Tnt asked in response.
"Oh, he's a fairly new member. I wasn't sure if you would know him," Mode answered.
"The name doesn't sound familiar. Anyway, let's go!" Tnt said.
At an old fortress in the middle of the desert, two robots grabbed the edges of a bomb and opened it, activating its timer for 1:07. They both braced themselves for the explosion as the timer ticked down to 0:01...
BOOM!
The bomb exploded, creating a black hole and sucking in everything around it. As it absorbed things, it became bigger, getting nearer to the fortress every second.
A guy with blue hair stood at the top of the fortress, watching the black hole, his cape flapping in the wind. Suddenly the monster on a hoverpad appeared, holding a bomb. Primids suddenly started to form, swarming the fortress. The guy unsheathed his sword and raised it into the sky. He then jumped down to fight the Primids.
After the fight, he watched the black hole again, this time from the ground.
Suddenly, a strange bat-like creature fell from the sky and crossed swords with the guy. They start dueling, but then Primids jump onto them. They destroy the Primids, surprised they have a common enemy. They suddenly realized they were being surrounded by Primids.
"I have a feeling we'll need to work together!" the guy said.
"I was thinking the same thing," the bat-like creature answered.
After defeating the Primids, the bat-like creature was flying along next to the guy, who was running down the path toward the monster on a hoverpad. It looked over its shoulder and saw them. The guy jumped up, trying to slash the monster in half. It dodged the attack and shot some lasers at the bat-like creature. The lasers hit its wings and it fell to the ground.
Suddenly, a sword flashed behind the creature.
"Great...AETHER!!!"
Suddenly the bomb the monster was carrying was sliced in half. The monster flew off, flying around like a popped balloon. The bomb landed on the ground, followed by another guy. This guy's sword was so big, he had to hold it with two hands.
"Whoa!" the first guy said, "Who are you?"
"I'm Ridder," was the response.
"From Runouw's forums?!" the bat-like creature asked.
"Yes," was the reply, "Who are you, and how'd you get here?"
"I'm Striker," the first guy says.
"Striker? Never heard of that name," Ridder replied.
"Well, I don't have a Runouw account, but I asked my brother, Daniel, to ask the author of this story to put me in here," Striker replied.
"Well, okay," Ridder replied. He turned to the bat-like creature and said, "Now who are you?"
"I'm Yoshi Boo 118," was the answer.
"Well hey! What say we go whoop some ♥♥♥?" Ridder says.
"I'm all for it!" YB replied.
They started running down the road and came to the end of a cliff. Looking up, they saw the monster on a hoverpad, flying away.
Meanwhile, a Waddle Dee is walking down the road happily. A boy in a green hat and overalls suddenly appeared, striking a battle pose, but from his facial expression he looked scared. He struck another battle pose, still scared. The Waddle Dee walked up to him and he steps to the side, shaking in fear. The Waddle Dee looked at him and kept walking. The boy sighed in relief as another Waddle Dee comes up behind him, scaring him.
Behind him, a figure stomped the ground, raised a huge wooden hammer, and smacked the boy in the back, launching him in the air. The boy came back down as a trophy, and the figure caught it neatly with his hammer, tossing the trophy to the ground. He walked over to it and tapped it, happy that he got himself a trophy. Some Waddle Dees crowd around him, and they all notice Wario coming along on a hovercraft. They jump away, leaving the trophy as bait.
Wario was driving along, with Curly and SS in the back (as trophies). He noticed another trophy on the side of the road and stopped to grab it. He jumped out, laughing, and grabbed it. But before he could get back to the hovercraft, he was stampeded by Waddle Dees, and he tossed the trophy in the hovercraft. The figure with the hammer had already gotten in.
"Thanks for the trophies dude!" the figure said, driving off. Now Destroyer1 is the top villain! Ha ha ha ha ha!"
Wario is left lying facedown on the road, and without anything he had. He starts jumping up and down, shouting for Dest to come back.
In a forest, a teenager clad in green, followed by a fairy, approached a sword that is stuck inside a rock. He put his hands around the handle and pulled it out. A bright light erupted from the rock and he held out the sword to the sky.
Meanwhile, in another part of the forest, a small dinosaur was sleeping on a stump, snoring. The teenager was walking down the path and walked past the dinosaur, not noticing it. The dino opened its eyes for a second, and then closed them again.
Suddenly, the forest started growing dark, and the teen turned around to see a huge airship dropping Shadow Bugs, which combine to form Primids. The teen readied his sword and the dino, now awake, walked over to him with a puzzled look on it's face.
"What's going on?" the dino asked, yawning.
"Don't you see those Primids over there?" was the reply.
"Yeah, what about them?" the dino inquired, still half-asleep.
"They're enemies! You gotta attack them!" the teen replied.
"Oh yeah," the dino said, now fully awake.
After fighting the Primids, the duo start running after the airship, but can't catch it. They turn in a different direction and start running.
"By the way, what's your name?" the dino asked as they ran.
"I'm RedLink, from Runouw's forums."
"Really? I'm Superyoshi... from Runouw's forums."
Red stopped running and turned around.
"Seriously?" he asked, shocked.
"Yeah, really," Suyo replied.
"Cool," Red said, and he started running again.
Inside a mysterious research facility, a blue-clad figure is breaking in using an air duct. It dropped down through an opening in the air duct and started walking down the hallway. After a little while of walking, it entered a dark room and looks around. Light started flashing and the figure looked into a nearby capsule, which was hooked up to a machine. A Pikachu (an Electric mouse-type pokemon) was inside and the machine was draining its energy to produce electricity. It eventually stopped and the Pikachu fell to the bottom of the capsule, groaning in pain.
The machine activated again, and the figure flipped something on its blaster and a whip of plasma came out. The figure used it to destroy the machine and free the Pikachu. In doing that, the security system was activated, and robots crowded the door to destroy the intruder. The figure and Pikachu got ready to battle the robots.
After that, the figure asked Pikachu what it was doing in a place like this, though it wasn't sure it could talk.
"I'm not sure," the pikachu replied, "I just woke up here."
The figure was surprised that it could talk and asked if it had a name.
"Yeah, I'm Xpo20, from Runouw's forums," it answered.
"That's kinda funny, because I'm MessengerOfDreams... from Runouw's forums," the figure said.
"Really? But I thought... you were a guy," Xpo replied.
"In real life I am, but in this story I'm not, apparently."
"That's just so wrong on so many levels."
"We can't worry about that right now. What we need to worry about is getting out of here!"
"Good idea."
They kept exploring the facility and finally came to the main control room. They looked around at all the screens in the room. MOD eventually saw a screen which showed a room with a strange-looking suit.
"I need to get that!" MOD said.
"What's so special about it?" Xpo asked.
"With it, I'm much more powerful, and I can bust us out of here!"
"That sounds like a good idea."
They both leave in search of the suit.
Silver and Tea landed near the shore of a lake.
"Ooh, what's that?" Silver said, and he ran off.
"Wait, Silver!" Tea objected, reaching out as if to hold him back.
Jello suddenly appeared behind her and used his blaster to turn her into a trophy.
Suddenly, a clone of Jello stomped next to the real Jello. He looked like Jello, except he had a dark aura radiating off of him. The clone melted down into shadow bugs and covered Tea's trophy...
Meanwhile, Red and Suyo were running down the road when Dark Tea spotted them, pulled out a blaster, and fired. The recoil of the shot knocked her backwards, and the gun exploded in half.
Suddenly, Zunar dropped to the ground near Dark Tea. He had slashed the blaster in half! SSX ran up beside him, eyeing Dark Tea.
"What's the situation?" SSX asked.
"She tried to blast a guy and a dinosaur that just ran by!" Zunar said.
"Wait, what? Dinosaurs don't exist now!" SSX answered, confused.
"Did you forget that we're in Brawl? Yoshi, remember?" Zunar explained.
"Oh right. Duh, I know know, I'm Mario right now," SSX replied, understanding.
Dark Tea got up and started attacking them suddenly.
After they fought her, Red noticed them and Dark Tea's trophy. He stopped running as the trophy melted into Shadow Bugs. SSX turned to see Red dash toward them, jump into the air, and attempt to drive his sword into SSX, using gravity as leverage.
"What's up with this dude?" SSX said as he dodged the attack.
"I think he thinks we killed Zelda!" Zunar said.
"Uh-oh, that means we're on his hit list," SSX replied, getting ready to fight.
They fought for a while and eventually Red and Suyo turned into trophies.
"We beat 'em," SSX sighed triumphantly.
"Yup," Zunar replied, wiping the sweat off his brow.
Suddenly, Dest passes by them in the hovercraft he stole from Wario. SSX notices a Peach trophy in the back of it.
"After that thing, Zunar!" SSX said, running after it.
Dest turned around, snatched up Red and Suyo, and drove off. Silver suddenly appeared and sliced part of the hovercraft, which launched Red and Suyo into the air. Silver jumped up and touched each trophy, turning Red and Suyo back to normal. All three landed on the ground nearby, and Dest turned around.
Red shot an arrow at the hovercraft as it passed by, which caused it to backfire. Zunar and SSX joined the trio and all five followed the hovercraft.
They found the hovercraft parked at the entrance to a cave in the side of a mountain.
"So you guys wanna go after that thing?" Red asked.
"Of course! He has Peach and I have to get her back!" SSX said.
"At least it's not Bowser that has her this time," Suyo remarked, "that's too cliche."
"Cliche or not, we should still save her," Zunar pointed out.
"You have a point Zunar," SSX said.
"Wait what? Zunar?" Suyo said. "Are you guys from Runouw's forums too?"
"Yeah, I'm TheZunar123 and that's SuperStar X," Zunar explained.
"Right, I forgot that we never introduced ourselves," SSX said.
"I'm Superyoshi and this is RedLink," Suyo explained.
"You should've changed your outfit from green to red, Red," SSX joked.
"Well y'know, I was already surprised enough from being in this game," Red answered, "that I never thought about that."
"Are we gonna go in or not?" Silver asked, impatient.
"I don't recall you introducing yourself," Suyo replied, turning to him.
"Oh right, I'm Silver Sonic_106," Silver responded, "but enough with the introductions already! The readers are probably getting bored!"
"Right, let's go!" Zunar said, pointing into the cave ahead.
Meanwhile, in the research facility, a dark cloaked figure was standing in front of a screen.
"Where to from here, Shadow?" Jello, who appeared on the screen, asked.
"The trophied Runouw.com users should be about half a kilometer southwest of your position. Wario reported in saying they had been stolen by the traitor," Shadow replied.
"You mean Dedede?" Jello asked.
"Must I tell you every time? Destroyer1 took the form of Dedede for some reason," Shadow replied.
"Right, whatever. So how will we storm his castle?" Jello inquired.
"Must I do all the thinking for you? Smash through the roof, it's the weakest part. And don't forget, he won't be happy if you fail."
"You mean Ma-" The screen deactivated before Jello could get the full sentence out.
"No doubt he will promote me; Jellonator is far too brutish to be promoted," Shadow thought. "First thing I do when I get promoted..."
A fiery dragon-like Pokemon flew down to a high mountain as Tnt and Mode watched.
"That's Charizard!" Tnt said, pulling out two cards of other Pokemon. "It's a Pokemon I don't have! Let's get 'em!"
"O-ok," Mode replied.
They made their way down to the mountain and find a mysterious entrance in the side of it. Suddenly Wario jumped down from a nearby pillar and tried to squash them. Mode suddenly flashes back to when he had turned Curly into a trophy and readies a PSI power.
After a while of fighting, Wario was turned into a trophy, and Tnt and Mode high fived each other.
"Nice work!" Tnt said.
"You did great too!" Mode replied.
"You don't seem as scared and shy anymore, Mode."
"Well, I've been building up some courage since we've traveling, so..."
"I understand. Now let's go!"
Mode suddenly rememberd about Curly.
"What's wrong dude?" Tnt asked, putting his hand on Mode's shoulder.
"It's just... that guy turned my friend into a trophy."
"Oh. That's sad. Maybe you'll see your friend again soon, trophied or not."
Suddenly, they hear roaring from inside the mountain.
Meanwhile, Destroyer was busy wiping off his new trophies. He took out a couple of Dedede pins and put one on Curly's shirt, one on the green guy's nose, and was about to put one on SS but realized he had no more in his hand.
"I don't have another pin?!" Dest said, surprised. He then noticed the pin on his shirt.
He took it off and put it on SS. "Perfect!"
Suddenly, the cave started collapsing, and part of the ceiling landed on his head.
"OW!!!" Dest cried. He spun around and fell over, unconscious.
From atop Dest's hideout, Jello and his minions jumped down through the hole they made and searched for Dest's trophies. Jello spotted one...
Suyo, Zunar, Red, and SSX came into the room.
"What is this place?" SSX asked.
"Looks like ruins of some sort," Red answered, eyeing the busted ceiling.
"I wonder why...?" Zunar remarked absentmindedly, following Red's gaze.
"Yo guys, over here!"
They turned to Suyo, who was gesturing to a hole in the wall.
"Huh. Strange," SSX said.
"Maybe this place has some valuables in it that someone wanted and this hole was an escape route?" Zunar suggested.
Red nodded in agreement. "That's possible."
"Only one way to find out," Suyo said, entering the hole. The others followed behind him.
Outside, Jello was sneaking away with a trophy when SSX jumped into the air.
"Oh no you don't!" SSX shouted, pulling back his fist for a punch.
Jello held up the trophy he's carrying, which was SS's. SSX's Mario instincts prevented him from overcoming that obstacle.
"Dirty trick," SSX muttered under his breath.
He suddenly jumped back to Zunar, who was readying his bow with an arrow. He shot it at Jello, who dodged by jumping out of the way. In the process of that, the Dedede pin that was on SS flew off. Jello suddenly lost his balance and fell off a nearby cliff, but momentarily came back up in his bucket-like hovercraft.
"So long, suckers!" Jello laughed evilly as he flew off.
Suyo and Red ran up beside Zunar and SSX, and all four watched Jello fly off.
"Hey, what's this?" Silver wondered aloud. He had caught up to the other four and was examining the Dedede pin that came off SS.
Meanwhile, the Ancient Minister (the monster on a hoverpad) is watching two robots activate a bomb near a strange castle. The bomb sets itself for 3 minutes and starts ticking down. The AM flies away, satisfied. After a few minutes, the bomb explodes, creating a black hole that sucks everything around it in. Back with Shadow, he activates the screen and sees a mysterious gloved hand called the Master Hand. The MH seemingly gives Shadow instructions, and Shadow bows.
Meanwhile, Tnt and Mode are inside the mountain, and find Ivysaur (a pokemon with a plant on it's back) as a trophy. TNT catches it in a Poke Ball. "One down, one to go!" Tnt says, and they continue on. Eventually they find Charizard, and defeat it, turning it into a trophy. Tnt catches it, and the Poke Ball bounces back to him. "Yeah! I got Charizard!" Tnt says, holding the Poke Ball up in triumph. They keep exploring and find a large circular room. They look around and wonder what they should do.
Out in the desert somewhere, a strange mechanical jet flies just above the sand. YB, Ridder, and Striker watch it from a rock ledge. Suddenly, Ridder jumps down. "Ridder, what the hell are you doing?!" YB says. "I guess we'd better follow him." Striker said. YB nodded in agreement, and they chased after Ridder. They eventually caught up to the strange jet, and it transformed into a towering robot. It jumped over a nearby cliff, landed on a path, and fell through, falling into a dark pit. "Well, that was easy." Ridder says. "What's the meaning of you just running after that thing?!" Striker asks. "I dunno, I guess the Ike in me just did it." Ridder replies. "Whatever the case, it's dead, or at least I hope it is." YB says.
Back with Tnt and Mode, the circular room starts shaking, and the huge robot falls to the floor in front of them, knocking them to the wall. "I don't know what that thing is, but it's goin' down!" Tnt says, pulling out a Poke Ball. "I'm with you!" Mode replies, readying a PSI attack. They manage to severely damage it, but it grabs them and sets a self-destruct timer for 16 seconds. "Oh ♥♥♥♥!" Tnt says. Mode whimpers in response, and the robot shoots through the ceiling and high up into the air. "PK THUNDER!" Mode says. A bolt of electricity comes out of him, and strikes the robot, blowing it to pieces. Tnt and Mode freefall, and the robot self destructs high in the sky, not harming them. "Now what?" Tnt asks. Mode didn't answer, he just grabbed Tnt and started whimpering. They almost hit the ground, but YB saves them. The black hole created from the robot's self-destruction sucks up Wario, and YB takes Mode and Tnt to a cliff face, where Ridder and Striker are waiting. Mode gets up and offers his hand to Tnt for a victory handshake. "Thanks for saving us." Mode says. "No problem," YB replies, "by the way, I'm Yoshi Boo 118, and this is Ridder and Striker." "Hey." Ridder and Striker say.
Meanwhile, the Ancient Minister watches the black hole from far away. He has a flashback of the last bomb, when the robots looked at him sadly, just before the bomb blew up. He flies away, but something is shot at him and he dodges it. It's Zunar! He had shot an arrow at the AM, and SSX and Red ran up behind him. They followed the AM across the desert and eventually it started shooting lasers at them. SSX and Red charged ahead, but were stopped by some robots, who created a barricade. The AM was about to fly away when a robot latched itself onto the bomb it was carrying. It dropped the bomb, killing the robot, and two others went over and activated the bomb. Zunar jumped on one of the robots in an attempt to pull him off the bomb and defuse it, but his efforts were in vain. SSX started punching the other robot, but nothing came of it. Some other robots came over and pulled Zunar and SSX away, and as the AM flew away, one of the robots waved to him. The bomb exploded, sucking in the robots. SSX got on Suyo and they started running, and Red and Zunar grabbed the Warp Star Silver was on, and they all got away from the black hole.
DLM and YK54 are walking down a path when YK54 is hit by something that turns him into a trophy. DLM looks in the direction of the shot and sees Jello with a weird-looking blaster, readying another shot. He shoots, and DLM barely dodges it. Jello then points at YK54's statue, and Shadow Bugs surround it, creating a dark Diddy Kong. Jello gets ready to shoot DLM when something shoots at him. It's an Arwing! It circles overhead and something drops from it, falling right in front of Jello. It's Falco! He dashes forward and knocks the blaster out of Jello's hands, and then pulls out his pistols and destroys it. Jello watches it explode, and then, in anger, clenches his fist. "How dare you?!" he says angrily. When Falco didn't reply, Jello jumped backwards into the woods and flew away in his hovercraft. Falco turns around and notices Dark Diddy. More Shadow Bugs latch onto him, making him grow ever bigger.
DLM touches YK54's trophy, turning it back into YK54, and he notices Dark Diddy. He screams in terror as DLM and Falco jump in to fight it. After the fight, Dark Diddy is turned into a statue, which melts into Shadow Bugs. Falco, satisfied that his work is done, starts walking away. "Hey, don't go!" YK54 says, and he drags Falco back. "Come on, let's go!" YK54 says. Falco turns around and starts walking away again. YK54 drags Falco along with him and DLM, and DLM just shrugs to Falco. Meanwhile, a strange platform is driving along a lake. On it is Shade (as a trophy), chained to it. It suddenly activates some thrusters and shoots up to a floating island. YK54 splashes through the water after it, yelling "Come back!!!". DLM and Falco come up behind him and watch as the platform flies up to the platform. Falco looks down the waterfall, and sees the Great Fox (the big Starfox ship). "By the way," DLM says, "are you from Runouw's forums, or are you just an NPC in the game?" Falco looked up at DLM and said, "Star king. I'm Star king."
Back at the Research Facility, MOD peeks around a corner into the room with the strange-looking robot suit. "All clear." MOD says, and he runs into the room, up to the robot suit, with Xpo following him. They are gazing at the statue when a platform starts to retract, preventing them from escaping. Suddenly, a robot suit just like the one inside the glass case (except this was purple) was stomping towards MOD and Xpo. MOD turned around and saw another just like it coming from the other side. MOD and Xpo got ready to fight them.
After they eliminated all those evil robot suits, a security system went off, and robots started pouring into the room. Suddenly, they all exploded, and out stepped MOD, inside the strange robot suit. "Let's bust outta here!" MOD says, looking at Xpo. "I'm with you!" Xpo replies. Eventually they reached a large circular room and were walking to the middle when something whizzed by and grabbed MOD. It flew up into the sky and roared. It was Ridley! Ridley flew around, and smashed MOD into a wall, causing his Power Suit (the strange robot suit he was wearing) to malfunction. Then Ridley flew around the room, scraping MOD along the wall. "Urgh!!!" MOD groaned in pain. Xpo then jumped up and shocked Ridley with a thunderbolt, causing it to release MOD. MOD fell to the ground, his Power Suit producing electrical sparks. Xpo turned around and saw Ridley, coming towards them. They got ready to fight...
After they defeated Ridley, they walked outside through an automatic door and looked around. "Where are we?" Xpo asks. "I have no idea." MOD replies. In front of them was what looked like ruins of an old castle. They then noticed a strange machine rolling across the ground, and then the door it had come out of. They started walking toward it, ready to fight anything they found.
Meanwhile, some strange-looking creatures were swarming a robot. They had arms and legs like humans, but their heads came to a point, with a plant at the top. They are called Pikmin. The robot suddenly wakes up, realizing it is being attacked. It spins around, throwing the Pikmin off of it. Some of the Pikmin died, and a weird-looking astronaut walked up behind them, quivering in fear. Dark Yoshi. One of the red Pikmin walked over and tapped DY, and pointed off into the distance, where a car-like machine was coming, and then stopped, ejecting something out of it. It headed toward the robot, yelled "FALCON PUNCH!!!", and used its momentum to strike the robot with great force. It looked like some sort of racer, with a falcon on its head. The robot went soaring, and the racer fell backwards, killing some Pikmin as he stopped himself. The racer turned around, and saw DY. "Oh, hey!" he said, and he walked over to DY. "Hello," DY replied, "and who are you?" "I'm SonehFlash, from Runouw's forums," the racer said. "Hi! I'm Dark Yoshi... from Runouw's forums," DY replied. "Hi! ...So now that we know each other, hows about we explore this area?" SF suggested. "Sure!" DY replied.
They eventually came to a cliff side, and watched an Arwing speed towards the Research Facility. Inside was SK and YK54, and YK54 was ejected down to a boat-like thing below. YK54 activated his rocket barrels, and hovered in the air while firing explosive peanuts at the boat. It started exploding, and SF looked over at DY. "Let's go!" SF said. "What?" DY replied. He didn't get a response; instead, SF grabbed him and jumped off the cliff. YK54 landed on the boat, and touched Shade, who turned back to normal. He broke the chains holding him, and beat his chest, roaring. SF and DY landed on the boat behind them. "Yello!" SF said, giving them a friendly salute. "Who're you?" YK54 asked. "I'm SonehFlash, and this is Dark Yoshi," SF replied. "Well hello! I'm YoshiKid54, and this is Shadrixian, or Shade for short," YK54 said. Suddenly, some Primids started forming on the boat. "Let's kick some bad guy butt!" SF said, striking a battle pose.
After the Primids were defeated, Shade and YK54 high-fived in triumph as SK flew by, inside his Arwing. He looked at YK54, and gave him a thumbs-up. YK54 waved in response as SK flew off into the distance. Everyone turned around to see that the boat was entering a strange-looking tunnel.
High above a frozen mountain, the Great Fox and YB118's ship are battling it out, firing lasers and stuff back and forth. YB118, Mode, Striker, Tnt, and Ridder watch down below, and YB118 suddenly jumps up and flies off. He suddenly stops, and sees two figures jumping up the mountain. YB118 started jumping up the mountain, scaling it at a high speed. "C'mon Nana, we can't let him beat us!" one of the figures said. He was dressed in blue, like an eskimo, and he held a hammer. Nana was the same, except she was dressed in pink. "Right!" she replied. They started climbing up the mountain, right behind YB118. They raced to the top, and the blue guy and Nana beat YB118 to the top. They started jumping up happily, and YB118 flew up beside them. He looked up at a tall stalagmite extending from the top of the mountain, and standing atop it was a fox-like pokemon. It suddenly jumped down, and landed right in front of YB118 and the Ice Climbers. YB118 looked over at the IC, who were a little scared by the pokemon. They gulped, and watched as YB118 and the pokemon battled.
It was an epic battle, but YB118 triumphed, turning the pokemon into a trophy. YB118 touched the trophy, turning the pokemon back to normal. "Ugh," it groaned, shaking its head. It turned to fight YB118, but then grabbed his hand, shaking it in respect. "Can you talk?" YB118 asked. "Of course I can," the pokemon replied. "I'm Yoshi Boo 118," YB118 said. "From Runouw's forums?" the pokemon asked in response. "Yep," YB118 said. "That's kinda funny, since I'm Usuario THf... from Runouw's forums." "How'd you end up here, Usu?" "I dunno. I just woke up here a minute ago." Usu turned to the Ice Climbers. "And who might you be?" he asked. "Well, I'm Koopa Parayoshi from Runouw's forums, and this is my girlfriend Nana," the blue eskimo replied. "Well well, it looks like a lot of Runouw members are here," YB118 said. "You mean there's more?" Usu asked in surprise. "Yeah. Ridder, Tnt, and Nin10mode are down at the foot of the mountain. And there's also a guy named Striker, but I don't know who the hell he is," YB118 replied. "Oh, ok," Usu replied. Suddenly, a loud noise was heard, and the Halberd flew out of a thick red cloud. It crashed into the mountain, throwing KP and Nana off, while Usu and YB118 jumped on.
Down at the foot of the mountain, Tnt and Striker watch as the Halberd crashes into the mountain, creating all sorts of rubble. "Yoshi Boo just went up there! I hope he's OK," Tnt said. They ran off in a different direction as KP and Nana landed on the cliff face, followed by Shadow Bugs, which created Primids. Everyone came together and fought them. Up on a higher cliff, SSX, Zunar, Silver, Red, and Suyo jumped down to help them fight the onslaught.
